The hotel is located in the city center and is easily accessed by the main streets of the city, near big events, restaurants and attractions. The rooms are clean, with good mattresses, pillows and towels. The pool is also very good and there is an option of intern pool for relaxing. The gym room is good, but it is a little bit strange the access to the hot pool passing inside this room.
The restaurant is good with affordable prices and good quality. One meal for two can cost less than 20 usd.
The parking service is also very efficient and the receptionists are very attentive and helpful.

We normally stay at a smaller property downtown but the Fiesta Americana was more convenient as we were arriving on an ADO bus at Paseo 60 late in the evening. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was nice, beds comfortable and amenities good. The room was also quiet. It is in a reasonable location, right on Paseo Montejo which has restaurants, bars, shops etc. It is also a block from Paseo 60 which also has a good collection of restaurants and shops.

Checkin was straightforward and easy.

We managed to obtain a very good price, lower than the usual rates posted for this hotel.

We did not use the restaurant or bar so cannot comment on them.

All in all, a good place to stay in Merida, expecially if you have limited Spanish and want a place that is similar to a US or Canadian hotel.

We visited Merida for 4 days during a month-long stay in Mexico and were delighted by not only the accommodations but the staff and restaurant offerings. They have an exceptional breakfast buffet (while maintaining a strict covid protocol)

The room was very spacious, clean and near new in appearance. The bed and bedding were just great! They offer a daily maid service (many hotels now only provide service on request).
Fiesta Americana has a beautiful lobby area that even has a live pianist performing in the evening (we were there on a Wednesday through Friday)
Our dining experience was very enjoyable, even more so when Emmanuel, our main waiter, waited on us! His warmth and personality was an unexpected delight.
We will definitely stay here again on any return trip we make to Merida!
We highly recommend the Fiesta Americana!!

Dirty toilet, dirty AC vents, scratched amenity tray and lots of paint touch ups needed in the room.
FD agent did not know I was a repeat guest and I did not feel recognized as fiesta rewards, no turn down service, apparently few highlighted people get it, not sure if I got it in the past this time I did not.
Good handling from management.
My charger was never found even I am 100% sure I left it in the room.

We had business to attend to in Merida and needed a place to stay on the spur of the moment. We did a quick web search and the Fiesta Americana Merida popped up as very well located and within our price range.

From arrival to departure, the people of the Fiesta Americana Merida made us feel welcome like family. No request was too small to attend to in a timely fashion (for instance, there are no ice machines on the floors, so room service needs to provide, which they did for us ... twice and within five minutes after making the requests). And everyone we came into contact with had this pleasant, professional, patient, 'can-do' attitude throughout our three night stay. The room was wonderful, nice and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable (I think they're Tempurpedics). Also, the architecture of the building is amazing. I could've floated in the pool just looking at the hotel for hours. Stunning Roman columns with gorgeous paint high-lighting the wrought iron room balconies. Just beautiful.

In short, we just had a wonderful stay in a wonderful place. Would I go back? Oh yeah, in a heartbeat, no question.

Clean hotel with amazing service. The concierge( Miguel) helped us with tours and even FedExed my keys back that I left in the room. The breakfast buffet is delicious and worth the price since you can't eat for hours later.

Free parking in a guarded garage but there are many museums and restaurants less than 1 KM away by foot.

Don't miss the side trips to Mayapan and swimming in the Cenotes

So many pluses! Greeted by staff at arrival in the driveway. Took our luggage gave us a reciept and directed us to the underground free parking.
Staff is extremely courteous and reach out and offer to help with orienting within the hotel.
3 Restauarants are very good and rates are comparable to lower priced American restaurants.
The 5 story atrium is beautiful and has very comfortable seating areas with different types of sofas and chairs for different tastes and comfort levels.
I highly recomend the levey we stayed in the FIESTA CLUB LEVEL, the extra cost is well worth it. It is on the top floor and has an exclusive Buffet, free breakfast which has an awesome selection of gourmet foods in the morning and Free beverages and food in the afternoon. we ate there several days of our stay saving at least 60 or 70 dollars in daily food tabs.
We have stayed at about 6 of the other luxury hotels in Merida and this is the one I liked the most. We will return here every time we vist Merida.
The service cleanliness and staff remind me of the old Hiltons is the USA that would consistently exceed yor expectations, such is the qualty of this hotel.

DearJuan, Thank you for sharing your outstanding experience at our hotel! We're thrilled that our staff, amenities, and overall service exceeded your expectations. We're delighted that you appreciated the warm welcome, efficient assistance with luggage, and guidance to our complimentary parking. It's fantastic to hear you enjoyed our three restaurants, the beautiful atrium, and the comfortable seating areas. We're especially grateful for your recommendation of the Fiesta Club Level and that you found the extra cost worthwhile for the exclusive benefits. Hi,
Avoid the pool facing rooms, there’s a very noisy compressor.
The hotel is ok, a bit old. Staff is mostly nice. After 5 days we‘re still waiting for a refund of our 200$ déposit. I have been calling the hotel twice and been put on hold as many times… very unprofessional, I sent a claim to my bank…

We left hotel today and won’t be back ever again. It was dirty, dusty, absolutely miserable what they are doing to save on single peso. We slept on improvised mattress!!! Instead of a mattress pad they’ve put two feather duvets attached with something improvised to hold on to the whole “ bed structure”. We lost any sleep wondering why we have to struggle to change position.

Photos attached: mattress ” structure”, cracks in the walls, how much they charge for coffee $ 😹, how much for the bottled water if you wish coffee and today’s price list for this “luxury”. From $7,000 mxp to $27,000 mxp.

Oh well, they forgot I was there to celebrate my birthday, they lied to us about room orientation but they are SORRY!!!! I’ve booked two months in advance, but they’re responses are just oblivious.

They don’t even ask guests to wear masks, no one cares. Large groups of people screaming yelling no masks anywhere including tiny elevators. Do the research how many’s times General Manager had to apologize here rather then to do something. Showering guests with apologies while charging us like it’s a real hotel. Please review attached photos.
P.S. pool tiles are falling apart covered in black mold.
