Me sentí transportada, relajada, apapachada. From the moment I communicated with the owners Rita and Jan over the phone and WhatsApp, I felt warmth, detailed attention, and super personalized customer service with humanity and realness. My girlfriend and I were seeking a Valentine's escape in Mérida, where we live, during the pandemic where we could be safe and also feel transported. Here we found it. I felt pampered, relaxed, and all. I hope everyone decides to spend any trip here because it's a small business with amazing staff all around and they need to always be in business! The architectural spaces are divine and beautiful, and they told us about all the dedication it takes to constantly restore this historic house. They do it so so well! From the beautifully planned and decorated entryway to the outdoor, pool-side restaurant to our modest room entrance across the pool, with double doors against any outside noises, we loved every square inch. The room is just delicious. There's no other way to describe it. Well-designed, excellent comfy beds, squeaky clean, and an incredible, huge bathroom. We stayed in the Spa Bath Suite and the jacuzzi tub and rain shower and natural cosmetic spas and lotions melted our stress away. Not to mention the delicious Valentine's strawberries and chocolate and champagne package, with homemade rose petal jam. Unlike any typical Valentine's sweet you'll try! The included breakfast was incredible, too, with more homemade jams and breads and perfectly cooked eggs and everything to our vegetarian specifications. Thank you Jamil and team in the kitchen! The owner even presented us with his lovely doggy. We will definitely return for another special occasion. Thank you for the urban paradise.

This hotel is a gem located in Barrio de Santiago withun easy walking distance from the mercado as well as the busier Centro area. I love the history in the neighborhood and more relaxed pace. The owners are beyond gracious, as is their staff. I had a little trouble while I was on my trip and Rita and Jan went above and beyond to assist me, my Spanish is wanting. The food in the restaurant is excellent as are the drinks at the bar or seated comfortably next to the gorgeous swimming pool! The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. I highly recommend taking their Mercado tour and cooking class as well as the tequila and mezcal tasting experience. I will definitely return for another stay on my next visit to Merida.

We just spent 4 days at this small 6 bedroom boutique hotel in Merida. It has been without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip so far. It is a lovely hotel, extremely clean and the service is out of this world. The owners and the staff will go out of their way to help with anything. And the chef is fantastic. Breakfast was superb and we ate dinner there a few times too. The room was spacious and the spa bath a welcome addition. The hotel is walking distance to Merida town centre but in a quiet area which is great. I would absolutely stay there again if I ever visit Merida again! Thanks Jan & team!

This place is a gem. Ample rooms, big bathroom with double sink vanity and large shower. Comfortable bed. Filter water by ur bed everyday. Quiet and safe area close to restaurants, plazas and churches. Top notch hospitality. All staff and owners are there to help U with anything U need. Delicious fresh breakfast with gourmet coffee made to order. Complimentary beer/ wine at sunset follow by fresh Yucatecan snacks. This place also offers cooking classes with their talented chef, tequila and mezcal tasting as well. We are looking forward to visit U soon. Thanks for making us feel safe during these crazy times.

This is a wonderful little B and B nestled on a safe street close to all the centro activities. Although I travelled during Covid, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of by the staff and owners of this beautiful little hidden gem. Small with six rooms, the treatment felt more like a 5 star resort. I lacked for nothing and was treated like a queen. The pool was lovely as was the room. The service was excellent and the food delightful and delicious. The care the owners and staff put into their work showed and felt as though I was staying at a best friend's home. Highly recommend.....even during covid. Completely safe and sanitized. Thank you Rita, Jan, Rodrigo, Luiz, Marie Jose and all the rest. So happy.
