Our third stay with Steve and the outstanding staff at Casa Sirena. Rooms are immaculate with thoughtful touches such as a small refrigerator stocked with cold water and beer, beach towels and tote, bedside tables with reading lamps, in room safe, drinking water just outside the door, and more. Steve has created a welcoming place that attracts guests from around... More

Thanks for taking time to write this review! I love my little hotel and the people who come to visit. Glad you enjoy my favorite touches like the Tiffany-style bedside reading lamps and the conversation with fellow travelers at the "Sunset for the Fun Set" happy hour! More

This place is beyond description. We had amazing experience staying at Casa Sirena for 7 days and is certainly a home away from home and my favorite place to stay. It is super clean, rooms are beautifully decorated, breakfast is fantastic and Steve, the host, is awesome! If you are looking for a nice and mellow atmosphere, a place to... More

Steve is such a great host! From breakfast to happy hour, everything is always awesome! The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned daily, above and beyond what you might expect. Weve been to the island 13 or 14 times. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here (As Steve put it, we like to sleep around,... More

We aren't all that jealous when our regular guests "sleep around" in other accommodations on the island. There are lots of great neighborhoods to explore, from North beach to south point. But we always try to entice these wayward guests back with a Repeat Guest discount and extra happy hour margaritas. More

Highlights - The room was clean. Art is everywhere. Steve is beyond hospitable (could write a 5 page review just on him alone). His staff is friendly. Breakfasts are super delicious. Happy hour was a great time every night. Prices are reasonable. Walking distance from anything you want. Tips - Be sure to catch the tortuga laying eggs if it's... More

One of the most overlooked activities on Isla Mujeres is the summertime turtle nesting season. We provide maps to our guests showing the best beaches to see these amazing creatures emerge from the sea and lay their eggs by moonlight. Sometimes, our guests are invited by the conservation staff to help collect the eggs (they feel kind of like fragile... More

We were lucky enough to have Steve all to ourselves on our (too short) visit to Isla Mujeres, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Steve is the consummate host and knows how to make you feel taken care of. At Casa Sirena you'll have a quiet, cozy night's sleep, gourmet breakfast, cold beverages and hot coffee always available, and... More

The complimentary "Sunset for the Fun Set" happy hour at Casa Sirena is often the highlight of the day for both the guests and the Innkeeper. The cocktails and conversation flow freely, creating a unique opportunity to enjoy the comaraderie of fellow travelers (and swap restaurant reviews!) More

One of the wonderful things about Casa Sirena is that Steve never changes the parts that make the place great, but does constantly tweak around the edges to find ways to make this special place just that much more special. From Turkish beach towels (lighter and collect less sand than the lovely blue ones) to special events at happy hour... More

We strive to find little ways to surprise our repeat guests. I am delighted you enjoyed the new "Happy Hour Artist Series" magic show and the rotating schedule of local musicians who perform for drinks and tips (Casa Sirena provides the drinks...) Just wait until you see the huge new mermaid mural in the rooftop bar! More

We stayed a full week at this boutique hotel and it was absolutely marvelous. Everywhere you turn, it's like a tableau put together by an interior designer. Lodging options abound in Isla, and there is something for everyone.
