One of the greatest joys of owning a small hotel is welcoming back guests who have become friends after several visits (and more than a few drinks together at happy hour!) The island of Isla Mujeres is a magical place, just an hour from the Cancun airport, but far from the traffic and noise of everyday life. Looking forward to seeing you again!

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Casa Sirena and loved it! Jane was so helpful ahead of our stay answering all the questions we had and directing us to Jose who connected us with USA Transfers for transportation to/from Cancun airport / ferry and booking a snorkeling tour. Steve made us feel like part of the family while there. Family style breakfast not only allowed us to get to know our fellow guests but also ask where they had gone on the island and what they recommended, not to mention the deliciously fresh, homemade traditional Mexican breakfast! Then everyone returns to happy hour where Steve made tasty drinks and we all talked about what we discovered on the island that day and enjoyed good convo and lots of laughs. The staff is lovely! The rooms are expertly cleaned and adorned with cute towel animals and all the basic toiletries are provided, plus bug spray! We loved the island and our stay at Casa Sirena; we’ll be back!

At Casa Sirena, we believe the best part of a journey is the people you meet along the way. We encourage friendships to form among guests at our common-table breakfast service and our convivial evening happy hour in the rooftop bar. Our attentive staff makes sure the guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean and well maintained. Guests personally welcomed by the manager with a cool towel, a cold beverage and an orientation to the hotel and the island's attractions. We designed Casa Sirena to be exactly the kind of hotel we like to discover when traveling, and are delighted you enjoyed your visit!

I've now lost track of how many times we've stayed at Casa Sirena over the past 8 years or so. It's now like a second home to us. Casa Sirena is pretty well known for its great location, wonderful breakfasts, cleanliness, super staff, and amazing happy hours. As well as the innkeeper Steve - an absolutely delightful man who has become quite a friend over the years. Steve is dedicated to providing an amazing experience - and every time we return, his commitment is apparent. There's always something new, or something upgraded, or some new touches that continue to make Casa Sirena an amazing hotel. This time there was some new furniture, upgraded countertops, new lighting, new showerheads, Turkish towels, and probably a bunch of other stuff I didn't even notice. The Sunset for the Fun Set happy hours are not to be missed - but especially when there's special entertainment. There's been some amazing musicians that have played, although we're especially fond of the magician - Lucas - who is delightful and charming and his magic just adds another dimension of fun to our stays. Casa Sirena is our favorite place to stay on Isla Mujeres - no doubt we'll be back soon!

Casa Sirena is a very short walk from the ferry terminal. We found many restaurants close by. There is a golf cart rental place just around the corner and it was a great way to explore the island. Make sure you spend some time on the roof top deck to watch the sun set over the water and enjoy Happy Hour hosted by your inn keeper. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed, immaculately clean and have thoughtful amenities. Overall a great experience.

Fourteen years ago, I fell in love with the location of an abandoned historic house on a forgotten street in the center of the town. Close to everything (ferry, bank nightlife, beach), with a spectacular 360 degree view of the sea. Two years later Casa Sirena Hotel opened its doors, freshly renovated, providing travelers with the highest standards of design, amenities, cleanliness and service. Glad you had a great experience!
