At soon as we entered the room we returned to the reception with complaints about the full trash can in the room and the poor water pressure in the shower. The great receptionist Jesus had the room cleand all over again and had the shower-head replaced so we had a clean entry and a good shower. We thought our complaints... More

perfect location right down town for this amazing boutique hotel. Like others have shared, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful and made some great suggestions where to eat. I stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and it definitely added to my experience on this trip. Will definitely return to this hotel when I... More

I stayed at Hotel Bucaneros for 5 nights at the end of July. It's in a great location, out the front door and right on to Hidalgo st, no cars, just pedestrians. Turn left for a short walk to the beach. The place was always clean. The reception staff, Eyder, Jesus and Lina, were always helpful with local information. I... More

Very nice hotel located in the centre of Isla Mujeres near many restaurants, boutiques, grocery store, pharmacy, ferry,... Staff was friendly and helpful but many did not speak much English. We managed as we spoke very good Spanish. The wonderful beach is 5 minutes away by walking. I was impressed by how the room was very clean and everyday our... More

Very charming & quaint, excellent service, private, and clean. The a/C in the rooms is blessedly cold. the continental breakfast was also very nice with fresh fruit and toast, coffewm, etc. We had a lovely time. There is also a great restaurant downstairs called Compadres. We had breakfast and dinner there several times.

Nice, clean, family owned hotel in the middle of town. Only one drawback, no pool, but close enough to the beach to walk! We had a first floor room with a small kitchen. Owners are very nice and accomodating, price is very reasonable, we would go back again

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bucaneros! It was extremely clean and in the heart of downtown and convenient to everything. The only thing that sucked was the wifi. It never worked in our room. At times we would have hot water and other times it would be scorching. We still enjoyed our stay as we barely used the room... More

Clean, pleasant hotel right in the middle of Isla street action provided a convenient location, hot showers, and good air conditioning. The bed was comfy and the breakfast pleasant. There was a colonial feel to the high ceilings and the architecture, but nicely updated for comfort. I enjoyed my time here.

We booked on tripadvisor but when we arrived they had no record of that. The guy was pretty good about that-he just used the details from my confirmation email to charge us the same amount. The room was tiny-there was a double bed jammed between the wall and a huge concrete pillar. The ceiling fan was too noisy to use,... More

My wife and I have been to the Cancun, Cozumel, Riviera Maya area at least 40 times. We have stayed in the mega resorts and smaller boutique hotels. We have made many day trips Isla Mujeres, but this is our first time staying on the island. Before I go into the specifics, let me summarize this hotel first. AMAZING, SPOTLESS,... More
