We had an apartment as there were two adults and three children. The apartments were modern and huge! We had so much room and the best part was that the back door opened up onto the beach! Amazing.

Loved the location!. A little oasis of natural peace and quiet on the ocean and a short walk from the downtown core or Playa Norte.
We really enjoyed listening to the roar of the ocean instead of loud poolside music and drunken revellers!
This is my 2nd stay at Media Luna and I love it!
The location is excellent if you're looking for a little peace and quiet away from all the good madness of downtown.
I love having the breeze on this side of the island.
My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in a standard room with 2queen beds. The room was very large and comfortable. The beds were cozy and the washroom was clean and modern. The staff were all friendly and accomodating. The front desk staff had...More

The rustic rooms are really "rustic", I would have no issues with them but they are really rustic, basically a cinder block room, no windows or view but cheap living. I just got back from Isla last night, we found a better place to rent golf carts. 800 pesos for 24 hours, roughly 40 usd per day, the office is in the lobby of hotel Konica on Juarez ave, a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You have to be there at 9am to get a cart as they sell out every day.
