This hotel is ideally suited to those who want a quiet and secluded time in an excellent small hotel. The staff take all of the CoVid restrictions very seriously and the manager, Eduardo, arranged an antigen test performed on our room balcony.... all for just $60. The food is excellent and the staff courteous and efficient. If you want a week of relaxed no hassles then this is the perfect choice for you. Definitely not for the party crowd.
This boutique hotel on the south (quiet) side of Isla Mujeres is a gem. With many rooms offering jaw-dropping view of magnificent turquoise waters and of the Cancun high-rises on the horizon, you might not feel a need to ever walk out your door. Its location on the south side is quieter and more relaxing than the north side; but a taxi can whisk you to its bustling bars and restaurants in 10 minutes. The staff are wonderful, courteous and always willing to serve, day or night. Only one time in my life did I ever enjoy a hotel with a better view -- and that was an overwater bungalow in the Maldives that cost $800 a night. This is a true value you'll always remember.
We found this beautiful hotel looking for a nice and quiet place to stay, we were completely happy with our choice! Incredible sea views and on to the lights of Cancun City on the mainland. Also sun sets, which we didn’t see because of the weather... The room was very clean and comfortable, we loved the terrace were we spent most of the time. The pool and bar area can get quite busy. The service of the staff were great, super friendly and reliable. Thank you Oswaldo and Hector for going out of your way to make our stay so special!
Oswaldo was so gracious, welcoming and helpful. The entire experience was simply the best I've ever had at any hotel, even ones costing more than ten times as much. Keep in mind that a CATEGORY FOUR HURRICANE had just absolutely clobbered the island - it didn't phase them one bit. Absolute professionalism and kindness throughout. On some things like cleanliness they were perfectionists, yet they are also fostering a very laid back atmosphere...its hard to describe everything that made this stay so amazing. These are such honest and hardworking people that can be trusted and are so easy to like. You HAVE to stay here!
This hotel is close proximity to Punta Sur. The staff was very accommodating and love the ambience of the hotel. There are a lot of stairs, so something to consider if you're elderly. I loved having breakfast served on my balcony daily. It was a nice to dine with the amazing views. We did have some plumbing issues the first night and couldn't get the toilet to stop running but I figured out that my husband was pushing down the toilet handle too far. We also had an ant issue on the bathroom countertop. Other than that the stay was great and I'd stay again.
