I stayed at Na Balam for one night on my own before heading to Cancun for a business trip. Having been to Isla Mujeres before only for a day trip, I was looking forward to seeing how an overnight experience would be. I booked at...More
We arrived very late to a mix up with our rooms and not enough beds for our party which was really annoying. However, Iris worked very hard to fix this the next morning, for the rest of our stay and was very accommodating. The rooms...More
We had no hot water in the room during our stay—at times no running water at all. Complained to the front desk every day until we finally got the manager involved. They never were able to fix our water problem, and we spent most of...More
A very relaxed hotel with great service. Just stepps to playa Norte with free sun beds. We loved all the greens at the hotel - like living in the jungle. The pool was OK. The rooms were good sized, no luxury, but high standard. We...More

As far as staff is concerned and telling, the construction will begin in August. The Fénix which was a bar/restaurant lounge was in operation on Monday and being dismantled on Tuesday. I walked by in the morning and it appeared as if the boards were being replaced. At 6:30, the entire front was gone. No noise on the beach side where I was sitting. I'll ask around and see if anybody knows anything more.
