Amazing place to stay! My husband and I traveled without our kids. G, helped us out tremendously. As well as one of the owners. They arranged transportation for us from the airport and served breakfast every morning. Our casita was clean and modern. Had everything we needed. The pool area up top was never busy while we were there. We had the whole area to ourselves. It was quiet at night and easy to get around the island on our cart during the day. The whole staff of Icaco Village are so gracious and kind. Thanks again to Giovanni! Hope to visit this island again some day.

Hotel is beautiful and service is great! Location is unfortunately not ideal- you 100% need a golf cart rental if staying here and there is no nearby restaurant or on site restaurant so every meal (besides the included in-room breakfast) you need to drive into town. We had a rough storm one night so that was a bit hard going in and out of town on golf cart and would have been nice to have somewhere closer to eat during that evening. You could bike ride to town from here as well but with the heat it's not ideal. There is also no nearby beach. There is a rocky shore point across the street which is pretty to look at but not possible to enjoy otherwise. The rooms, decor, breakfast and rooftop pool are all lovely! Service was great- very friendly but there is no one on site 10 PM-9 AM which is something I am not used to - would be comforting to have someone available at all times in case any assistance is needed. Traffic noise can be loud if you are on the first floor (first floor are the rooms with 2 double beds, 2nd floor are the rooms with king beds)- I suggest ear plugs especially if staying on the first floor. When I used my ear plugs/eye mask I slept ok. Overall I'd say it was 4 star but if there was an overnight front desk person available, the beach across the street was groomed and sand brought in so you could walk over and lay out or take a dip there, and if there was an on-site or neighboring restaurant- it would easily be 5 star!

Matthew and his staff were all so friendly and accommodating. It felt like we were staying in paradise. It had a gorgeous view of the ocean. You felt safe, and welcomed by all. I would recommend all my family and friends to stay here.

I was on Isla Mujeres for a romantic vacation and our stay couldnt have been better at the Icaco Island Resort. What I personally liked a lot is the design. The interior design gives the room such a nice vibe. The rooftop pool was our favorite lace to hang out because the weather was hot during our stay on Isla Mujeres. So don’t look further for a place to stay. ;)
