Hotel Xbulu-Ha is like your second home in your vacation. The staff is always ready to help you in what you need. The hotel is located in Isla Mujeres downtown. Both the ferry and north beach are no more than 5 min walking from the hotel. Also in two blocks you are in Hidalgo street where the restaurants and bars are. So you are close to have fun, but far to do not be disturbed with the noise. Hotel Xbulu-Ha has WiFi, beach towels and chair for the beach as complimentary service.
I had reserved a room at Hotel Marcianito, I'm not sure what happened but I was brought to Hotel Xbulu-Ha, which was a short distance away. I was greeted with smiles and friendliness. The woman at the reception desk had no idea what was going on; however, after speaking with the woman from the other hotel, she put me in room immediately, Again, she was very friendly and accommodating. After receiving my key, I was brought up to my room #9, it was very clean and smelled good. The room had a queen size bed, which was very comfortable for me. It was a nice space with a TV mounted across from the bed. The bathroom was clean and the stand up shower was roomy with good pressure and the hot/cold water was excellent. There was lots of space to put my clothing and bags. There was a small sink and mirror outside of the bathroom and a decent size refrigerator. I wish that I was staying there longer but I had reservations for another hotel. Hotel Xbulu-Ha is located steps away from everything a person would need, from the supermarket, pharmacy, laundry, food, tattoos, beach, everything. For those who like to be away from the tourist strip, this hotel is away from it. I recommend this hotel. Thank you for making my stay comfortable. …

I stayed in a junior suite on the second floor. My room had a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, cutlery, plates, etc. Good AC, a lot of hooks to hang damp clothes, hair dryer, always had hot water, and the location is close to everything. They have free beach chairs in the lobby, as well as free coffee each morning. I would stay here again.

Xbula-Ha is our “Go To” hotel. We have stayed there many times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are clean, good hot water, great bed, good air conditioning, staff is friendly, lap top size safe, location is well within walking distance to the beach, close to the “main drag”, yet far enough away to be away from the congestion and noise. There is a grocery store close by. The door to the hotel is secured at night, we feel very safe and Alex is the night staff person who is available if needed. The hotel is well looked after, regular maintenance keeps it fresh looking and Eric is quick to fix any problems that might arise. Xbula Ha has many patrons that return year after year. We have also enjoyed our stays at the sister hotel, the Marcianito which offers clean rooms in a good location at a very good price.…

I have stayed here for years! The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. You can’t beat the location. I brought a group down in October and they were treated spectacularly. You can’t go wrong at XBula-Ha!

Love, love this hotel! We have stayed here on 4 different trips and will stay here next time as well. The staff is so wonderful and welcoming. Gabriel is a gem. I had several questions and changes in the months leading up to our trip and every time I sent an email he was so helpful and quick to reply. The location of the hotel is great. Very close to the supermarket, restaurants and beach. Beach chairs are provided, which we love! The cleaning staff does a great job on keeping everything clean and sand free! We can’t wait to return!

What a wonderful oasis. We recently spent two very enjoyable weeks at XBulu-Ha. Our suite was well-appointed, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The hotel offers a quiet respite close to the vibrant centre of Isla’s main village. It is also just a short walk to the beautiful North Beach. Gabriel and his staff are friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It is a happy place and we look forward to returning.

Do Not listen to the guy who is saying bad comments about this Hotel. I have stayed in many Hotels on Isla Mujures over 35 years. This is a Very Good Hotel. Honestly! The rooms are very clean. Great staff. Quiet and one of the Best Boutique Hotels on the Island. Rourke Howard

The worst experience ever they had roaches no water and worst customer service ever very rude in the front desk. I tried to get the managers name and they said they didn’t need to give me that information and find out myself. It looks like the room was not cleaned properly the bed looked like the sheets we’re not changed and they couldn’t even put new shampoos or soap in our bathroom when requested then they said they would send them and never got them.

Quaint little no frills hotel. Clean! Cold AC, hot water. Friendly, accommodating staff. Close to the beach and Hidalgo. Beach towels provided and beach chairs are available first come first serve. This hotel cannot be beat for the price.
