We stayed here while on holiday and competing in the triathlon. It's very central, quirky and interesting, a quick walk from restaurants and the sea front. We loved it. The room is cool, had really effective air conditioning and the large queen size bed was incredibly comfortable. The mosquito net over it was useful and added to its charm. The...

So i travel a lot for business. I spend anywhere from 3 - 12 nights a month in hotels all around the world. And when I travel for business I expect business treatment. Clean comfortable rooms, good service, on site restaurants etc etc. Luckily my employer provides all that in most international destinations in the form of 4 and 5...

This is a lovely place which is about a 10minute walk from the main square on 5th Avenue. We had the bungalow furthest from the entrance and it was perfect. The room was clean and well equipped with a fridge and microwave, sink and cutlery. Filtered water was available in the reception area. They have clearly listened to feedback and...

We knew pretty much what to expect but next time we will rent a house for not much more. There isn't adequate public social/sitting if you are hanging around your room for the day. The pool was tiny - and not clean. We had no desire to even get wet in it. Our room had musty/moldy smells and was furthest...

Beside your private living área there are some spaces to gather. One terrace over the third bungallow. the Patio behind the lobby, and the lobby itself. Though it is true that the conception is not for spending a whole vacation on the grounds but as a shelter as long days outdoors. The pool is the size of a big jacuzzy...

We expected a rustic place, and found Amaranto to be delightful. Discussing the design with architect/owner/host Jorge was enjoyable. Authentic Mexican sinks and lamps, hammocks and palapa roof were perfect. Manuela keeps everything clean and comfortable. The extra $6 for a full breakfast is well worth it, but is optional because so many divers leave very early. What fun to...

We enjoyed Amaranto bed & breakfast. Room was unique and huge. Great deal for the price, great location. Quiet and surrounded by local shops. Jorge gave us good insight into things to do while in Cozumel. Very safe street and our room was also cleaned daily.

Just a few blocks from the waterfront, close enough for easy access and far enough to be removed from the high traffic tourist areas. Very unique rooms, lots of space, good beds, good amenities, good breakfast, great wifi. Great restaurants nearby and the Amaranto owner provides excellent recommendations on dining, diving, rentals, etc. Even though we were there at the...

The property is beautiful and authentic Mexican, but you must know going into this hotel what you are getting. It's not a 5 star bed and breakfast and you will not get room service. I never saw the owner and only saw the house keeper one time. She did not speak any English at all so it was hard trying...

We stayed for 6 nights in the 'Penthouse' top floor room you can see in the photos. The room is simple in terms of facilities (fridge, microwave, bathroom and beds, enough plates and cutlery to do a bit of simple breakfast etc), but unique in terms of a room to stay in. It has a crows nest type platform in...
