Sea so clear outside your patio. 4- Love nightlife? Fishing? Hiking? Biking? It is all here in Cozumel and it is all near CONDUMEL. Located about 10 minutes by bike or walking from all the popular places and restaurants. You've come to relax or to play in Cozumel; this place has it all. A crew of about 6 takes care of only 8 units, you will feel very comfortable here. BTW. This entire Island feels very safe, however CONDUMEL has a crew member guarding the place day or night. I was in love with this place from the first look at the front door! Mexican tile floors, simple but lovely furnishings, and then THE VIEW! Further in I found the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in Mexico. And my chief reason for being there, snorkeling, was excellent out front swimming north and south and returning to the wall just in front of Condumel for so many interesting fish and sea creatures. My only slight complaint was the quality of kitchen supplies. We always cook and the pans weren’t great and implements were not numerous. But they were definitely adequate! Clara, the manager and the owner could not have been more helpful and understanding and just wonderful. Wish it wasn’t already booked through the winter! Will definitely return!

My husband and I have been coming to Cozumel and staying at Condumel for more than 25 years. Some years we have brought our family. If you are a person who wants an all-inclusive, contemporary atmosphere, this is not the place for you. If you enjoy local restuarants and swimming and/or snorkeling in the Caribbean, reading in a hammock, and watching pelicans skim the water before sundown, this is your place. I count the owner, Bill, as a trusted friend. Clara, the office manager, is knowledgeable and friendly. She ordered carry out for us several times and is a wonderful source of information. I've always felt that the staff was looking out for us without being obtrusive. There are only 8 units. A crowded afternoon on the beach might have five or six people there reading or sunbathing. Many folks come for the scuba-diving, and Bill and/or Clara can make recommendations if you want help lining up a dive boat. Condo decor is somewhat dated, but well maintained. We used to rent a car, but last year we either walked or used cabs, and really enjoyed it. Also, it was quite a bit less expensive. The walk to several very good restaurants is about 20 minutes. Cabs were about four dollars to downtown. We have our reservations for 2023. We travel quite a lot. This is one of the places I feel at home.…

Owner threatened me over a final balance of $237. There was no communication about the check out process until I asked, the morning before I had to leave at 6:45 am. The woman at the office told me I could pay then or at 5pm, which was better for her. I returned late (5:12 pm) to find the owner waiting outside my room. He wouldn't accept my credit card and was upset that I didn't have the cash. There was no prior communication about not accepting credit cards. I offered Zelle, the only app they use for deposits ($500 in my case). I am a small framed woman, he is a tall broad shouldered (american) man. He barges into my room uninvited, looms over me to supervise my phone screen while I make the Zelle transaction. The Condumel wifi didn't work (sketchy all visit) and neither did my data. He implied I was trying to weasel out of my bill by pretending the app didn't work, though he saw everything on my phone. I was extremely uncomfortable and wanted to get away from him. To avoid further in person contact, I suggested to swim and catch my last sunset and that he would receive digital confirmation by 7:30pm. The story ends with me spending the last night on the island doing nothing but trying to settle the bill, then staying up all night with my door wedged shut as best I could, afraid of every noise, after Zelle doesn't work and he threatens me in various ways including TAKING ME TO AN ATM TO MAKE ME WITHDRAW THE CASH. Condumel is a great place to stay while in Cozumel. Can walk to really any restaurant or bar that you may want in town for absolutely no more than 30 minutes, or take a very swift and cheap cab ride. Place was very clean and Clara and her crew were very accomodating and quick to respond to any question or concern that we had. Due to the excellent beach on the property and proximity to the ocean you may have a few ants in the apartment so be prepared for that, but it certainly was not a major issue at all. Highly recommend this place and would stay again in a hearbeat!

Old Mayan motif, beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean towards the mainland . A boutique hotel with a nice kitchen , short walk to town .We did some cooking but mostly ate out - fave was La Monina just down the road , overlooking the sea. Excellent staff at Condumel- Clara was so helpful with documents and PCR before we came back to Canada . Highly recommended. All rooms have a water side balcony!

Great place, room stayed as clean every day as the first time checking in. The host is great and very personable. The place has very safe and comfortable vibes and the architecture and style designed into the building and rooms was perfect. Pre stocked fridge was very convenient.

We have stayed there twice and every part of each stay has been superior. The convenience to snorkeling, the private beach area, the stocked refrigerator (including adult beverages), and the sound of the waves at night make Condumel a magical place. That is not even mentioning the sunsets. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the iguanas are happy to entertain if you have a banana or two. You can not beat Condumel for price, location, or amenities...

Condumel is spectacular. If you are looking for a quaint, quiet hotel in Cozumel, this is it! Friendly, attentive staff, close (but not too close) to downtown, and fantastic snorkeling just feet from your room!

Our first visit to Cozumel and we got lucky by staying at Condumel - Our condo was on the first floor - so within a few steps you could be snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach, We had a little wind but even with that the snorkeling was great - lots of fish and very clear - The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to insure we had a good visit. We leaned a few things on our visit. 1. The fishing is not great in Jan regardless of what the guides say. 2. Avoid the downtown area and the main tourist attractions when there are more than 4 cruise ships in port. 3. There are a lot of really great places to eat depending on what you like - Our personal favorite was LaChoza - 4. You do not need to rent a car for the entire trip but we did a couple of days to tour the island. 5. You cannot go wrong staying at Condumel…
