We loved everything about the resort, ftom the minute they ooened the gate for us when we arrived until they call3d a cab to rake us back to the ferry. Clean, large pool, extremely friendly and helpful staff, room service at its best, daily refilled room fridge, beach just a few steps from our room. Great choice of food, fun entertainment team. Only thing we were not completly happy about was our room - rather dated and in need of renovation, was clean but not up to date. On the other side there are so many things to do at the resort and close to it we didnt really have time to sit in the room. Beds were comfy and sheets clean. If we ever go to Cozumel again we will stay here again! My son fell in love with the iguana at the Portifino buffet, he named it Bob, please say hi to it when there:-)

Hotel's Favorite
The resort is very nice the food is average. But the staff is great. Hard working and friendly. I was down during Mexican Independence Day. The resort threw a huge party! All the staff worked so hard and it showed! Great show! Some of the staff that stood out to me, Arbey was fantastic, always smiling. He truly goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Brenda and Yatmara, Mily from VIP services also outstanding. Alejandra was another stand out, always smiling and friendly. Vicky and Mauricio helped me the most, they work at the Preferred swim up bar, they both have me great service. I also stayed at the Secerts Aura the same week and will be writing a review for that resort. They are sister resorts next door to each other. If you stay at Secrets you can use the Sunscape facilities.

This was a quick girls getaway with my sister and my mom that we found a great deal on. I always read reviews and with some of them that I had read for this particular resort- I honestly wasn't expecting much especially for the cheap deal that we got on the trip. However, I must say - this smaller resort was such a pleasant surprise!!! Yes the rooms are a bit dated but the amazing views, everything being within reach and the outstanding service made it all well worth our stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very clean, the mini fridge was always stocked and AGAIN the service was outstanding! You don't have to make reservations for meals, so it was easy and quick to get in to eat. The Italian restaurant was our first meal and the pizza wasn't bad, but I would recommend the calzone. At Portofino restaurant - The breakfast buffet was a bit limited but still good, lunch buffet was better. Sunnyside Grill for lunch or dinner was very good - Ceviche is a must here! But our favorite restaurant of all was El Patio - the food was delicious- everything we tried there was outstanding and best of all was our waiter Mario - he made every single dining experience such a pleasure. Tortuga's bar was excellent - special shout outs to Javier and Luis - they kept the drinks flowing..we never had to ask and they were extra friendly and always smiling. Every single staff member that we encountered were such hard workers and did everything without hesitation and with a smile. One thing I much express as a frequent vacationer is that not very many people gave tips - even a dollar here and there helps them so much - they work 6 days a week and get paid very little - also please keep in mind when you do tip - they go above and beyond even more (sorry I had to throw that in there - I'll get off my soap box now). I would not hesitate one but to come back here!! We have been to several different 5 star resorts and although there are more dining options in those - this resort is now one of my favorites!! Sunscape Sabor is a true Gem - from the bottom of my heart we appreciated the amazing & memorable time that we had there because of all of your excellent staff!!! Can't wait to return!!

Serious safety incident
This place allowed women to go around assaulting men. They also allowed children to run around naked at age 12 and that’s child pornography. Karina is an awful employee and racist. The management sexually touched guests and the rear end and breast area and asked for drugs. This resort should be reported to the authorities. If you stay here you will see cracked walls, no hot water, poor food, watered down drinks, staff steals from guest and many cockroaches.

We were advised this was one of the premier all inclusive resorts in Cozumel. Unfortunately, to our surprise this resort is not that. As U.S. citizens, on our honeymoon, this place was not a highlight of trip. The pros : good service at front desk, good ac in room, and views of the beach. The cons: the food is terrible (1/10) with limited options, no taking food back to room without being questioned, the mosquitos are out of control, the poor condition of the deluxe tropical view room (crack in our bathroom window, stains on the walls, and mosquitoes were coming in due to window) the solicitation at the resort is very aggressive and annoying due to you will be solicited from the time you’re off the plane.Honestly, I am surprised there are not more negative reviews regarding the food... I mean terrible. Not a place I would recommend.
