This was our first time staying at Iberostar. We were very disappointed at the food including the specialty restaurants. We could not believe the reviews we read prior to our stay didn't advise on the low quality of food. When you would ask for a tortilla it was like asking for a pound of gold. It turned into a covert...

We just returned from the Iberostar on March 10th. The rooms were ok -- clean, not real spacious and a little musty smelling until the A/C caught up. The grounds are very nice - lots of blooming flowers and flamingos, peacocks, iguanas roaming around. Nice walking path around the grounds. Work-out room is ok; weight equipment looks to be original...

Stayed 8 nights recently. I picked up a Campylobacter infection on day three, which had my local Health Department calling me when the lab reported it. For those who aren't familiar, Campylobacter is spread via feces and produces fevers, chills, and non-stop diarrhea. Since I never left the resort, I'll have to assume I got it there, and since I...

Diving with dressel divers was fantastic. They are wonderful, pleasant, knowledgeable and safe. The hotel staff are lovely, happy and very accommodating. Although the food is below my standard, there was always something edible at the buffet. The rooms smell mildewy but then what do you expect in a humid environment with wet dive gear hanging everywhere! People wake up at...

We just returned from our second trip to the Iberostar. This time we took some friends with us as we had told them how great our vacation had been and wanted them to come along. What we noticed was that the food had really changed from 2 years ago. The Buffet was not as good. We noticed the food was...

The Iberostar on the Island of Cozumel is a tropical resort with a terrific hard working staff group who are attentive to your requests. The resort takes very good care of the grounds and the tropical animals that live there. We were part of a large dive and vacation group at the resort. Our smaller group of 8 were very...

We spent a week with two other couples at this resort, Feb 28-Mar 5th and really enjoyed ourselves. I read lots of reviews before deciding, but some of them were scary! None of our things were stolen, none of us got injured, or sick. We enjoyed the food, better than many other all inclusives we've stayed at. The service was...

Just back from the Iberostar Resort. Feb. 26-Mar. 5th! Had a wonderful time. No it is not a 5 star but we were never under the impression that it was. This is a great family vacation destination in a clean and beautiful area. Grounds are lush and tropical as you would expect at an older resort. Grounds keepers are always...

We visited the Iberostar Feb 23rd - March 2nd the restort was beautiful and very well kept. Like others my only real complaint was the food - it tasted good but was not hot or even warm at the best of times. There is luckily a great little resturant next door that offers $3.00 beers and $10 fish tacos which...

This is our third trip to this resort in the last 4 years and my only complaint is the food has gone down hill. When eating in the buffet I found it very unorganized it appeared they do not have enough staff preparing the food for the amount of people being served food was under cooked we had chicken that...
