All personnel on the resort were extremely friendly and courteous. Some meals were excellent while others were less so. The air conditioning in the rooms was not very good which resulted in a feeling of dampness to everything including the bedding..not comfortable. There were three rooms booked for our group, one couple had to be moved twice due to lack... More

This was our first all inclusive resort and we are already planning our return trip. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved our room and the grounds were beautifully tropical. Our room was always well dressed each day and we never had to ask for anything. Several dining choices for each meal including lunch at the beach each day. There... More

This is our third time here (2nd in August) and although it is hot and humid we enjoy the quietness of the resort off season, The bungalow style rooms are rustic but clean and all being upgraded in the last year. A/C works well , and although the bathrooms are getting older they are adequate and clean. Redoing them would... More

We stayed for 8 days and had a great time. The food is plentiful, diverse and available around the clock. The staff was super friendly and hardworking. The room cleaning staff does an excellent job everyday and there are always people outside trimming bushes, updating rooms, sweeping, etc...I would suggest bringing a plug extension cord because we can only find... Just spent a week at the Iberostar Cozumel resort and it was great. The food was good quality. Drinking water quality was good. Clean rooms. Strong wifi connection. Excellent dive shop onsite. During the summer months the humidity increases, and the mosquitoes and sand fleas are more evident, bring bug spray and after bite if visiting. Would go back. Will... More

Along with the notice of seasonal mosquitos & sand fleas and the resort fogging when possible (not raining), it would be most appreciated if the property management provided a travel size can of OFF/insect repellant to each quest rather than price gouging at the Star Shop for $12 a can! We could do without the shoe shine sponge and sewing... More

The hotel staff was great. They do need to update there bathrooms, but other than that the rooms are fine. The maid did an excellent job of keeping the room cleaned and supplied with fresh towels. The food is what you would expect from an all inclusive.. Not horrible but not great either. I will say the Tex Mex restaurant... More

Where to begin.... Firstly, I have to say that anyone who has given a bad review of this resort might want to consider staying on the mainland. If you don't "do nature" Cancun or Riviera Maya, with its high rise resorts are for better for you. Those who complained about a "musty" smell in their room, I didn't experience it,... More

The Iberostar Cozumel is a distance from the Muelle (Playa Ferry Terminal). I understand that it costs about 220 pesos each way by taxi, probably more if your skin is white like mine and the taxi brings you to and from the main check in area. That said, we opted to rent a car at the ferry terminal and this... More

Very nice property with good food and service. Main dining room for dinner had a varied menu and was quite good. A la carte options were just ok though. The Asian restaurant was the best food and the Steak place had the most food. The TexMex place was a bit loud, the food was just acceptable and the service was... More
