The hotel is in a wonderful location, close to the Zocalo, ocean, restaurants, bars, shopping, and banks. The hotel is 2 stories around a courtyard with tables, chairs and umbrellas. Known for its home of 'turtles', they wander in and around the tables and chairs, we had to be

The parking lot I used had hours of 5am to 11pm. There is one across the street that is always open. Parking in Centro and near Hotel Mary Carmen and all downtown hotels are plentiful and easy.

"We prefered the ground loor."
"No elevator so if you have mobility issues request a first floor room. I would not describe the Mary Carmen as wheelchair friendly."
"Tip: ask for rooms upstarts. Can get noisy on the entrance floor. Breakfast is expensive and not that good."
"Ground floor near the seating area which is a hot spot and near the turtles"
"There is no elevator. If you have heavy luggage stay on the first floor. If you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs."
