All oceanfront rooms, each with patio or private balcony for you to enjoy the beautiful sunsets or you can relax under the palapas on the ocean or around the fresh water pool. Friendly/helpful staff - on-site restaurant where food is freshly prepared and you can get a quick snack or full meal - on-site full service dive shop and scuba school. This is a smaller, more intimate hotel. The staff will know your name and you will know theirs after a few days. We like it this way and we will never change that.

We booked last minute and stubbled on the perfect intimate Cozumel divers resort owned by Eva. Quaint and no frills with excellent service and a warm and friendly atmosphere. A great small feel restaurant managed with the best quality and service by Hector. Suburb evening entertainment twice a week. SSI BADASS dive shop takes care of all your needs and training too. This is our GoTo for Cozumel anytime!!

Even when I am gone for a while I can see Blue Angel vividly in my head. I close my eyes and can smell the Caribbean ocean. I can hear the clanging of the tanks as they are being loaded and unloaded for the days adventures. I remember all the smiling faces from the Blue Angel employees that have greeted me for the last 12 years and can hear Sergio saying “Good Morning Frank Sinatra. What will it be this morning Boss?”. I wait for Javier to show up with the churros. Diving 2x a day among the most beautiful reefs I have ever seen provides me a minimum of 2 hours of the best meditation I can get anywhere and it includes a very relaxing boat ride with Mat and Andrew on the No Problem talking about life, which direction and how strong the current may be by looking at the buoys and lines on the surface, pointing out the histories of some of the homes and hotels as the boat goes by them. This place is one extra large decompression chamber for my soul. Thank you for the daily Facebook pictures and videos Andrew. Eva Kristine Rasmussen, you created an unbelievably beautiful experience! I absolutely love it!

We just spent the weekend at Blue Angel. As Canadians living in Puerto Vallarta it was a short trip to the other side. Upon arrrival at Blue Angel, we knew we were in for an exciting stay. The check in was easy, the service was fantastic, the rooms were clean and ready for us. We had our grandchildren with us and they were just as happy to spend time snorkeling at the dock, jumping into the crystal clear water, and dining at the very delicious restaurant onsite than worrying about going out. The property has the old Mexico feel. We love the simplicity of the property. It made us feel comfortable, relaxed and not worried about touching something we should not, or missing a rule that would make things awkward. We did a Blue Angel boat tour that created memories for all of us that we will never forget. (delicious ceviche guys) Eva, you have truly created a piece of paradise for your guests. Your personal attention to your guests means that they arrive as guests and leave as family. We will return for sure.

Great place to stay for diving and accessible to downtown. Has a great ocean view and all the amenities you want for a memorial vacation. Live music every Wednesday and Friday. The dive shop is on the same property and the DM’s are the best around. Andrew took time at a safety stop to help my wife with her weighting and buoyancy control. All the staff here are great and will call you by name on the second day.

I’ve been patient, but I don’t think I should stay quiet anymore. Back in 2020, I canceled a scuba trip within the cancellation window to receive a full refund. The company fed me a vague line that they would have delays repaying me, because of COVID. And I told them: no problem!! I understood 100%. I knew times were tough for all—including me, including them. I wanted to do the right thing. I assumed that they wanted to do the right thing, too. I was wrong. I wish I hadn’t trusted this company. I wish I had opened a dispute with my credit card company immediately, because I waited patiently... and waited past the point where my credit card company could investigate my dispute (yes, I tried). Over the next year, I followed up with Blue Angel again and again, remaining polite and patient in all my emails. I was rebuffed, and offered a trip credit, which I cannot use. Also, a trip credit is not what I was promised in the contract. I was promised a refund. Finally, a year later, they admitted they had no plans to pay me back. Ever. (Why weren't they straightforward with me earlier?) They cite the pandemic as their reason for denying me my refund, which again, I sympathize with. Things can’t be easy. But they clearly have had continued business over the last year—shouldn’t they be at least trying to save up to repay their debts? And most importantly, they haven’t attempted to find a good compromise. (No, a trip credit that I can’t use is not a useful compromise). No offer of a partial refund, for example. No attempt at saying, “sorry, we can’t pay you back today, but we are aiming to refund you by x date.” The company now ignores my attempts to reach out. If I had known that my deposit was non-refundable, I would never, ever have booked a trip with this company in the first place. I’m out a significant chunk of money that I could really use during this time. I see a couple of other TripAdvisor reviews mentioning similar stories to mine. Although I’m sure the resort location itself is lovely, I hope people reading this review will consider giving a different dive resort—a resort with more integrity—their support instead.
