We stayed here through our Hilton Grand Vacations time share. It was a relatively low-point commitment but they did charge about $100/person/day for the all-inclusive fee. Given the cost of dining in Cozumel, this seems reasonable enough. We paid for an upgrade to a two-bedroom suite which was very comfortable. Housekeeping was good, showers and toiletries were all nice. The view from our balcony was fantastic - particularly for sunset. The staff was all very kind and helpful. Special shout out for Andres, the concierge, who gave us great advice and was always super friendly when we ran into him on property. The food was mostly just okay. I had about three or four especially tasty dishes over our five-day stay. Peninsula, the Asian restaurant was my favorite. I knew that was where we wanted to go based other reviews, but it was only open on our final night. The specialty restaurants did a better job helping with my gluten and dairy allergies. I would be cautious eating at the buffet as the staff did not seem to know the ingredients in many of the dishes. As per an earlier review, this is not a high-end resort. There were, in fact, tiles falling off of some of the areas on the main pool. The workmanship in the guest rooms was adequate but a little messy. The biggest negative about resort was definitely the “beach.” It is not open insofar as the hotel doesn’t have any amenities over there. You can still swim. For me, however, even if it were open, it would have been a disappointment. It was not a sandy beach entry and the water was deep so not that turquoise blue one expects in this area. You can enter in a rocky area or climb down some ladders into the water. We walked down the road to the Intercontinental which had a nice cove with a walk-in beach entry. There are also some hotels further south, that have nice beaches.

Awesome resort with 5 star staff that care about your experience! The good: Starting before we flew out we were contacted be customer service to confirm our travel and negotiate upgrades. We were able to negotiate a good priced upgrade for a semi-private plunge pool suite. Wait staff is amazing. Starting with Arturo and his amazing breakfast crew in the morning, Manuel, Isabel, and Miguel are fantastic and by day 3 we didn’t have to wait at the table to order because they had them waiting for us by the time we got back from the breakfast bar. Saul and the concierge team were equally as excellent providing solid recommendations for activities and very low pressure when we indicated our disinterest in the “presentations”(timeshare). The pool staff Edwin was very attentive and prompt with all orders. 5 star experience all around. They hotel put us on the members only excursion to Cielo to snorkel! It was a great trip. We saw lots of starfish and a stingray. The reef across from the hotel was amazing and had better experience than going to Cielo reef..saw a “dory” fish, puffers, clown fish, and many others! The not great but manageable: Pool suite was essentially 2 Rooms a living room and a bedroom.. the bedroom suite AC Unit was on its last leg.. but the room stayed comfortable enough that we just slept with just the sheets and were more than comfortable. The main pool was great until a lot of guests arrived.. it could use a good cleaning as the edges off the pool started to get a bit dirty and show some green algae. The beach across from the hotel is actually more reef.. but we just bought some snorkeling gear and had an excellent time doing that!

First time to stay in an all inclusive resort and it was great. The food was great on the buffet and the couple times in the restaurants was good too. The pool is great the views are great. Close to town and the ocean for scuba diving. I definitely would like to go back one day!

Great if you don't want a big all-inclusive experience. Good sides : good buffet and drinks (but not worth the price difference compared to cheaper all inclusives like Iberostar though). Specialty Italian restaurant is TERRIBLE (Cannelonies without ricotta cheese, etc.) but Asian specialty is to DIE FOR though. You have the BEST snorkeling spot right in front of the property (saves you the 30USD/person fee other tourists pay). Pools are very small but nice. Rooms have amazing ocean view of course. Personnel is nice. I fell near the pool and cut myself pretty bad : the nurse on site took care of my wound for free every day ! Other resorts would have charged me ... Overall very nice place but not worth the price difference.

Rooms nice. Opt for an upper room for best views. Beach area not open but can use - no fault of resort. Pool could use a little maintenance- missing tiles. Standard all inclusive food. Good for families. The king suite is very spacious and would be great for families

5th visit since 2016. We very much appreciate the size of this resort, not so big and easy to maneuver around. Food is good, but it is the service that is outstanding! Jose and Aaron are some of our favorites, but everyone is friendly and willing to take care of you. The entertainment in the pool area is fun to watch and participate in. Yes, the beach area is closed with services and restrooms, but there is still a lifeguard on duty to enjoy the beautiful water and views. Rooms are large and clean and having a balcony to sit on to view the ocean is nice.

The ocean and beach have no staff. So if you are traveling to Mexico to be at a pool and that’s it… go here. For the price, there should be a beach and access to the ocean in my opinion. Their photos mislead us. Once we asked for our money back the gave us a refund but admitted the beach access and staff have been out since Covid

- Small "Resort" with Loud music sometimes until 10:30PM! Not quiet, Not relaxing. - Main issue was with buffett dining wait staff. Waiter/ waitresses were unfriendly, unwelcoming and some Blatantly ignored me from day One! Service was very slow & they were clearly miserable. - I won't say this of ALL of them, but MOST of the restaurant staff I interacted with. I asked one for water he just kept waiting on others and I finally got water from another staff at the end of my meal. -Two of them were very rude to me. I'm easy going and very chill and I Don't like to get people in trouble esp at their jobs but this was too much I had to report it to the supervisor. - Reached a point I didn't want to have to ask for anything. - Been to many many all inclusive resorts, this was the worst experience for me. Usually the dining staff are the best, welcoming, friendly, but NOT at Fiesta Americana Cozumel. - Had been anticipating this trip to Cozumel like forever but they made me Really want to leave after ONLY ONE day 😫. I called RCI & searched online to book elsewhere. But found no availability given the short notice in an island and it's spring break. - Got Stuck on an Island & I'd Booked Fiesta Americana for 4 nights 😱. - Other people latinos & Caucasians got service right away. For me, I'd wait forever before anyone even acknowledged me. - I was basically denied service that I'd paid for. - Best WASTE of money and time I've ever spent! - DARIO was the Only waiter who was genuinely nice & friendly. - Manuel and Arturo (supervisors) were both very nice. They tried their best to improve the situation by checking on me. (But they can't be present all the time). These Two made it bearable. - There is NO Dinning Room, they use a small L shaped area between two elevators for buffet dining. It's windy and people just pass by from the Lobby to their rooms. - Also of note, there was No hand hygiene promoted at the buffet area. There was hand Sanitizer bottle at entrance but staff never offered it to anyone. - Housekeeping was great. - The Spa was excellent great staff. - ADRIAN Snorkeling excursion - He's amazing, very knowledgeable definitely enjoys his job and likes all people. I really enjoyed myself. OLD BUILDING NO REPAIR - First night I got there the AC was not working, they came right away and fixed the bedroom AC but the living room AC Never worked my entire stay! - Mould smell when bedroom AC & fan is off. - Beach Cabana Old abandoned building. They keep lying it's opening next month, but there's no ongoing construction.
