My husband and I stayed Feb 2-9, while my mother and 12 yo daughter shared a separate room. Our ground level king suite was very nice with a separate living room and bedroom, complete with a private swim out pool. Our AC didn’t work all week and leaked water when it did (which

First time in Cozumel and it was a great experience. Had a couple extra days and stayed at Fiesta Americana Cozumel for our last night. Thought the resort was on the ocean (it's actually across the street) but service and staff made up for it. They were very friendly and

We had a great experience at Fiesta Americana. We have stayed at 3 other resorts in Cozumel and this was the best place. The food was good and the staff was amazing. Zaira at the coffee corner always had a smile on her face and she knew what you liked by the second day. Kermin

Is the beach swimmable?
It's not a beach, but more of a waterfront. But, yes, it is swimmable. Access is via steps (which are a little tricky, and involve navigating some rocks), or ladders.

The bathrooms for the beach area are adjacent to the buffet restaurant. Not a man, so I can't answer the question about numbers, but it "appears" to be the same size as the women's room, which has three toilets and two sinks.

I've heard that you can get a day pass, but no personal experience. I would try messaging the hotel via their facebook page. I've had great success at getting answers to questions in this way. :-)

I never had a problem getting a bed or cabana. They were busiest around lunch time, but seemed to open up in the afternoon. Yes, they had a Mayan dance (think cheesy luau), casino night, live band beach party, and karaoke while we were there. Yes, the room service was also delicious. They also have a fridge with drinks (soda and beer) in your room.
