I normally don't write a ton of reviews. This place deserves my time to rave them though. Check in was smooth and quick. We had an ocean view room on the south side. Views were amazing. Could watch beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Next time we go we will get the lower level beach unit. It had a bigger patio for lounging and walked out directly to the beach and scuba shop. Room was great. Bed comfy. Great walk in shower. Resturants were ok. We had a couple great dishes, and a couple not so great. Loved tacos and all fish dishes I tried. Breakfast, maybe due to covid, but the buffet had no burners on the food. Everything was cold. We figured out best way was to order eggs, omelet ect, then ask them to throw on bacon with it, have them throw pancakes or French toast in the toaster. We loved that because it isn't all inclusive, you don't see a lot of people trying to get their money's worth in alcohol, not a big party resort. We wanted to just relax and dive. This place was perfect for that. Spa and massages were a great day. The spa has a great vibe with sauna, steam room, hot tub, dipping pool, and cold pool. The dive shop scuba du is my favorite that I have dove with before. They totally catered to use. We never had to touch our gear all week. 5 star service from changing anything out, to switching tanks, storing, washing gear, returning it all clean and dry on departure day. We got pampered on every dive. The night dive is the coolest. So many octopus, eels, giant crabs, lobster, squid. It was so alive. The first day we had Cervando as our dive master. We requested him for all of the other 9 dives. My wife sometimes has issues on the first dive as we are fairly new, only 30 dives and only 1 trip a year. So getting comfy with ears and mask. Is a refresher. He immediately replaced her mask, took time to help her. After the 2nd dive, she is a natural now. I can't recommend them and cervando enough. This resort and dive shop are now the only place I will go. When we return to cozumel.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed here in Feb 2021. Our room was impressive. Our view of the ocean was breathtaking. Our room had a big tub that easily holds two people. Our bed was comfy and everything was immaculate. They took care of our COVID testing, and it only took about 5 minutes to have the test done on site. The Scuba Du dive shop is on site and does an amazing job. The restaurants are delicious and convenient. We used the hotels bikes to explore the city on a couple of days. We did 7 dive excursions. Best diving in the world. Great romantic getaway. Well priced. Great servicve.

Efficient check in check out. Beautiful grounds, beach, pool, and rooms are very comfortable. It is away from the city center and more quiet. Would recommend. Room coffee not so much, go for the cafeteria. Very clean and everyone wears a mask all the time.

Where to start - simply amazing! First off the staff at this hotel is creme de la creme. So kind, friendly, responsive, etc. The location is beyond dreamy. Was here in December 2021 and other parts of the island were unfortunately not able to be snorkled due to the current, but right off of the hotel is a wonderful reef. We had a room that faced the adult pool which almost felt like a private pool as nobody went back there. It's a big property so while they said they were at capacity, it never felt crowded at any point. The spa is a MUST - with its own pool area that's shaded. They also have two bonfire spots which some people reserve but we often found that nobody showed up for their reservation and we were able to use them at night. Also the COVID testing onsite is a great ease of mind. We also stayed at the Intercontinental Cancun and would say that while some of the restaurants are the same, the food is better at the Cozumel location.

This resort gets an all-around A++! Everything was fabulous including accommodations, staff, service, food. Staff was friendly and anticipated our needs; housekeeping was excellent. The resort replenished bottled water and minibar daily which was a huge help. Large towels in good condition were easily available for pool/beach, and the honor system meant no lines to check towels in/out daily. Wi-Fi was easily accessed and worked well throughout the resort. The resort scheduled our return-to-USA covid test upon check-in, the test was done on property with emailed results, making it very easy. The daily buffet breakfast had made-to-order eggs, lots of proteins/bakery. The dinners at the four restaurants were delicious. Menus are via QR code, bring your tablet. Water entry is via ladders or beach on two areas of hotel, where you can snorkel with abundant fish. Our only disappointment was the dive shop boat snorkeling trips required 4 people to sign-up which never happened our stay. However, some companies pick you up at resort dock, and the location makes it easy to reach town and snorkeling locations by taxi, or if you rent a car there is ample free on-resort parking. We chose tower room (3rd floor) for extra space it afforded. It had a full-front ocean view with balcony, was lovely, comfortable, clean. There are two small elevators, but we always walked the ramped walkways down for a little extra exercise. This is an extremely well-managed property, we will certainly return.
