We stayed at The Lodge at Chichen Itza for four nights and used it as our base for exploring the area around us. The lodges are incredibly nice and comfortable. I loved having a hammock on the front porch to read in. The grounds are incredibly well maintained, and apparently, covered in iguanas! As for the location, quite frankly, if... More

Thanks for your truly FANTASTIC review of our resort and our people. You summed up so thoughroughly the wonderful places that are just five minutes from your bungalow ! The Caves of Balancanche, the Cenotes at Ik Kil and Yotzonot (did you visit our own, gorgeous cenote "Xtoloc" ?). Thanks for your visit. Luis, Rogelio, Alejandro and all of us... More

Our family of five spent two nights in the Maya Room with the Loft. We absolutely loved the location and its proximity to Chichen Itza. We also love the grounds and the people working at the hotel. It was evident from the beginning that they were so proud of their Mayan History. Every day we spent during our meals talking... More

PRO's A great place to stay for fans that enjoy Historical places. Awesome service, great jungle experience, rooms are great, it's awesome just to be able to walk straight into the Historical Pyramid zone. And staff go out of their way for what ever you want or need. My sons and I got sick during our stay and they helped... More

Stayed here for one night after spending the day visiting the ruins at chichen itza. Arrived by car early in the morning - they allowed us to check into our room already at 9am. We were greeted at our car by a golf cart, which took us with our luggage to check in, and then on a tour of the... More

Thanks for your visit and your wonderful comments. I am concerned about your comment on the cost of the government entrance fee. IT IS THE SAME AS THE GENERAL ENTRANCE FEE. And I write this in capital letters so future visitors are not led to believe otherwise. Same identical cost, managed and collected by our government, even in our own... More

The Lodge is a great example of a hotel that was built in different times. The architecture is stunning and the grounds are immaculate. There is so much space between buildings that you are guaranteed privacy, even with Chichen Itza right next door. The staff are fantastic, from the porter who drives you to the reception desk in a golf... More

The hotel occupies a large piece of well kept land next to the Chichen Itza ruins. Most of the rooms are in large (2+ family) bungalows scattered around the place. There are at least 3 large swimming pools, a restaurant and a convenience store (in the main building), a parking lot and a private entrance to the ruins. The latter... More

Location is perfect for a visit to Chichen Itza; it's on the same grounds and there is an entrance right from the hotel property. Our room was an end unit located towards the back of the property and is quite spacious and clean. Since we were not on the main building, the WiFi from our room was almost non-existent. Glad... The bungalows are nice and the grounds are beautiful but it's not quite a 5 star resort. The food is a real let down and service is so so. However, the convenience of being right on the doorstep of Chichen Itza and a short taxi ride away from the entrance to the Light Show more than makes up for any... More
