I went to this hotel just a night, the staff was nice, I did not even touch my luggage because the staff carried it to my room for me. There are many nice restaurants where you can have a great big mexican breakfast, lunch or dinner. There's a bar as well. The only wrong thing was the wifi... Not in... More

We only stayed here for one night in a bungalow but could have happily stayed longer. The bungalows are set in beautiful gardens and the swimming pools are dotted around the property. It's walking distance to the ruins and all in all it's a great place to stay

In the last year, I have been here to stay on two occasions and to eat on three. First the hotel is very nice and comfortable. The food at any of the serving areas are amazing. You can eat authentic Mayan dishes or at their buffet (which closes at 5P). The Bungalow rooms are romantic and very comfortable. The hotel... More

Thanks for your various visits and for such a nice review of our service and facilities. We concur: The Mayaland is a unique resort, providing similarly unique experiences to our clientele, all inside the park, in the very heart of Chichen Itza. Miguel Pantoja and all our collaborators join me in wishing you safe travels and a happy return. Hasta... More

expensive for the offering. This hotel relies on its location to justify its rates. The rooms are super basic and the aircon (which is essential due to the heat) is non existant. Restaurant service and food is good although if youre willing to drive a little there are better hotels in the area to base yourself at (at cheaper rates)... More

What a poor, sad review. You missed the experience of being in the heart of the mayan temples, surrounded by gorgeous gardens, with fine service and unique culinary delights. Yes, you can go on the cheap and miss all we offer for what most of our clients believe is a very reasonable cost. Most resorts in the civilized world cost... More

The best thing about the hotel is that it has a private entrance to the ruins, so you can enter without queues at 8AM. Nevertheless for the multimedia show you have to go to the normal entrance. The hotel was half empty when we stayed there, so service was quite good and the rooms are spacious. But at check out... More

Nice review. We are taken by the fact your grading does not reflect your prose. Our service is just as good during season, as you can attest by over a thousand comments from our patrons. Hasta la vista ! More

There has been so much questions in relation to these beautiful land where Maya land was constructed! What started as an expedition that lead to building a beautiful home for the groundskeepers and the family that started it all. Now in modern age being next to one of the eight wonders of the world filled with joy and positive experience,... More

This hotel is beautiful and quaint despite the 92 rooms it offers. The proximity to the ruins is perfect. The staff were very helpful; Melba, the receptionist, graciously registered me early and answered questions about the grounds, with a smile. Alejandro Caamal was a gem and assisted with my luggage, tickets for Noches de Kukulkan, and arranged a private tour... More

I chose Mayaland bungalows as it offered the private entrance to CI, and boy was that worth it. Nothing can beat standing at the foot of El Castillo with no one else around. Awesome! The bungalows are spacious with 2 double beds, not queen, so a tad cramped if you are sharing. Bathroom spacious. TV and coffee maker. We are... More

As long as I can remember, I have wanted to visit Chichen Itza. For my 50th birthday we decided it was time. We stayed for one night in the Hotel at Mayaland and it was fantastic. This was my first trip to Mexico and my first night was spent adjacent to the Chichen Itza archaeological park. Upon arriving in our... More

I've lived in Quintana Roo for 9 years and have stayed in many hotels around the ruins, but this is by far the best option. First of all, the service and the staff are excellent. From the waiters to the bell hops to the concierge, you will be taken care of very well. The concierge, in fact, Fernando, was extremely... More
