We have stayed multiple times at the Mayaland Bungalows near Chichen Itza and it has always been a wonderful and pleasant experience. The hotel has a private entrance to the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, so you don't even need to line up to enter the site! After visiting the ruins you can relax by the pool of the hotel,... More

We stayed for 2 nights to visit the ruins. Since this hotel is located inside the premises, you can access it wihtout having to make any lines. The hotel is beatuiful with a colonial decoration. Rooms are spacious and most of them have balconies.

The hotel is just by the ruins and has an entrance to the ruins wishing is great as you can get to the ruins when they open (8am). The hotel has a great view of the observatory! The rooms are from the 70's but are clean. The food in the restaurant is very very expensive for what you get. The... More

Location of hotel can't be beat! Walk into the ruins first thing in the morning for a magical experience without the crowds. Bungalow was nice and pools were refreshing after a long day walking around. Resort restaurants for reasonably priced for the location. Grounds are nice to walk around.

Wonderful hotel in the Mayan jungle with a private entrance to Chichen Itza. We stayed in the bungalow - 2 rooms (one for adults and adjoining for teen kids). The rooms are nice and clean and we loved the hammocks on the porch and the refreshing pool. The food at the restaurant is really, really good - it is obvious... More

My party stayed here twice in the last 3 months. We found the bungalows to be well worth the price and the convenience to Chichen-itza.is outstanding. The Mayaland guest have their own entrance to the ruins and the staff are outstanding and friendly. Miguel Pantoja, hotel management, is a baseball fanatic and shares his love for baseball with everyone.

This hotel is a great place if you want to relax. The landscaping is so beautiful that you don't have the need to do much else. The service is outstanding! We were originally going to stay a day and continue on to Merida but we liked it so much that we made it out base camp! It is obvious they... More

Mayaland is always topnotch. The food is always outstanding. My wife had a duck made from a pineapple that made her night. I always enjoy talking with the staff and buffing up on my Mayan. The owner has went all out and restored a 1929 pickup used to reconstruct " The Castle". New onsite observatory is awesome. Also the new... More

The location of Mayaland Hotel & Bungalows neighboring the Chichen Itza ancient Mayan city makes a unique option for visiting this wonderful place. This facility advertises itself as “the most beautiful hotel in the world”. While somehow representing a pretentious statement we have to recognize that it provides for a very interesting and different stay. Being a traditional hotel founded... More
