Bottom line is that this is one of the most special places I have had the honor to visit. Dating back to the 16th century this resort has spectacular beauty and an awesome location. Right on the grounds of the ruins the park entrance is a 5 minute walk. Accommodations are simple, charming, and comfortable. The landscaping is breathtaking. Highly... More

What a find. Since we wanted to tour Chichen Itza very early in the morning to avoid some heat and humidity and the tour buses, we chose this lovely hotel within walking distance to the back entrance of the site. The hotel is very clean, has air conditioning-we were on the first floor and did not want to leave the... More

We had a excellent time in Hacienda Chichen. Nice bungalows with big beds. Superb breakfast and nice dinner with live music. Price is high but worth the experience. The pool is great and Gilberto helped us with the private backdoor tour at 6 oclock to Chichen Itza.

Feeling in the past as a inveterate traveller in this aera to visit this amazig place. Calm and nice sitting in the evening at the pool and having a chance to play billard in a separat room. Friendly reception to be recommanded.

Great overnight stop at the hacienda! Good cottages and absolutely great park. Wonderfull pool to relax. 5 minsxwalk to the back entrance of chichen itza... Beat the crowdes in the morning. Flawless service! Restaurant is VERY good too! Even so my only critic... On the too expensive side. Restaurant Terrasse in a super romantic setting

Thanks for staying with us and for your nice comments about your experience in our romantic Green boutique hacienda. Happy to hear that everything was perfect and flawless. On the price side, we are aware that it seems to be expensive if you compare it with the food service you can have in the town but, not expensive at all... More

Beautiful gardens and comfortable cottages make a great setting away from the crowds. We entered Chichen Itza at 8am through the hotel's private entrance and were ready to return to the hotel before the crowds arrived, on bus tours from Cancun. We could cool off by the swimming pool and relax with a drink and meal on the terrace. There... More

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are flattered by your excellent review on our services. The restoration work is almost ready and like you said, it is not an impediment for our guests to enjoy our premises as it does not affect the rest of the property such as, the rooms, spa, gardens, restaurant, swimming pool, etc.... Instead of getting exhausted in doing a same-day round trip from Cancun (or other places) to Chichén Itzá, stay there one or two nights! The archeological site is terrific and there are several good hotels around. The hotel was established into a former farm. The main farmhouse accommodated now the reception, concierge, lobby, living and pool. The chalets are spread... More

This beautiful property is a short walk from Chichen Itza. The accommodations were outstanding, with various casitas spread out over the property. The staff was first rate and accommodated our every needs. The dining was also first rate, serving local cuisine. Even though the Chichen Itza ruins are overrun with tourists and hundreds of kiosks selling stuff made in China,... More

The hacienda is beautiful with a story to tell, the staff is friendly, the rooms are very nice and the grounds are a must see. We are avid birders and realize that it is not migration season but we still enjoyed 20-30 species. One of which was an owl-that was cool. The best part was the private entrance to the... More

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was ok. Beer was cold. Small wine list but adequate. Didn't enjoy the dancers at lunchtime...and a tip was expected for them. Rooms were big; a/c worked well. Our bathroom had a spa and a view of the observatory from it! The show in the Planeterium was enjoyable..there only the 3 of us... More
