You will never find better service, better view, or a better time. We had a swim up suite with a gorgeous ocean view. An added bonus was our amazing concierge service. Evelin was SPECTACULAR!! We were well informed, well taken care of and can t wait to come back. The sky gym was amazing. If you’ve never tried Pilates you MUST go see Diana for a Pilates class, or three or four. The ab workout under the pavilion with beach view was also a must do. Our absolute favorite activity was the glow party. The event coordinators and planners are on point! Dreaming of my return.

Nice hotel for a relaxing stay. Definitely what I wanted. I think I found a hotel in Cancun where I can say I want to go back. Very pleasant vacation. The Spa is the best I have ever been. The gym has a nice variety of lessons you can take.

We went for a girls weekend and Hyatt Zilara exceeded all of our expectations. From the impeccable service from check in to check out, you must experience this hotel for yourself. The foam party at the pool on Friday was a blast. The pool and beach cabanas were amazing. This trip is what we all needed to recharge our batteries.

I have stayed at over 30+ resorts in the area and have even stayed at HZ many years ago so was very disappointed this time around. The resort has taken the airline "charge for everything" and implemented it at an all inclusive resort. The most disappointing of these "upsell" charges was the need to pay for a decent seat around the pool. Now if you are a beach person then this won't matter to you except they don't provide any umbrellas at the beach for the lounge chairs. If you are a pool person and like me want a great seat right up at the pool you will most likely have to pay to rent one of the many many cabanas that are right at the pool side or Instead I chose to wake up at 5:30am each morning to grab one of 4-5 only free cabanas. The loungers at the pool side belonged to the rentable cabanas and we saw people time and time again asked to move even though they were empty. The only free loungers were back away from the pool. This just set a negative tone for the entire trip. The staff were good but nothing remarkable. Other differences that I noted from other top tier AI Resorts (such as: Secrets, Live Aqua, Atelier, etc) were lower tier top shelf liquor options (see pictures on what is provided), charging for coconut drinks, not able to order food to your seat around the pool to name a few. The resort also has turned into a more of a party resort then R&R so that was a surprise. We had just returned from Breathless Cancun in August and were aware that was a party scene. They also didn't have the room we booked available at check-in so they tried to convince us they were getting upgrading by giving us a refurbished room but still not the right type of room. Now a few good items: The Spa was great thorough enjoyed the water circuit and massage. It was never an issue to get seated for a meal quickly and overall food was good. Had a great stay. Hilda in the spa was amazing . Also had some other great people tending to us. Bartenders at the mixology den were awesome. Enjoyed the beach cabana I just wished that weather had been a bit better that day

We have traveled to Cancun multiple times and have been loyal Excellence Playa Mujeres fans - up until now. This year, we wanted to try something different - and after pouring over countless reviews we decided to take a chance on the Hyatt Zilara. We are glad we did! Check in: Unfortunately, we had a huge problem when we checked in. We had reserved a Presidential Suite through Priceline - something we were SO excited about for the perks that it comes with, as well as the view from the top floor. Upon check in, the hotel had our reservation as a Jr. Suite/cheapest room. Long story short - after many phone calls, the error was on Priceline’s end - and we have learned our lesson to never book through a third party ever again. Even though the resort had nothing to do with the mistake and the Presidential Suites were all booked, they upgraded our room and did what they could to make our experience as comparable as possible. I want to thank Saúl in concierge and his supervisor Amelia for their patience and grace with us frustrated and disappointed travelers. Room: After check in, everything was fabulous! Our room was on the 6th floor toward the center of the center of the resort and the view was stunning. It was spacious, well appointed, and had the best shower in the world! The housekeepers worked tirelessly to keep it clean , the minibar stocked with that we prefer, and even decorated our room with balloons on my actual birthday! Food: I have been to at least 5 different all-inclusive resorts, and this was hands down the BEST food experience we have ever had, especially at dinner at the a la carte restaurants. Everything we tried was SO flavorful, with a variety of options. We looked forward to each meal. Many compliments to the chef(s). On my birthday, we dined at Chef’s Plate and we were blown away by food! Worth it for sure. Beach/Pool: This stretch of beach was BEAUTIFUL, and there was hardly any seaweed!! I cannot think of one complaint. The beach is significantly better than the beach at EPM. The ocean is a gorgeous turquoise, with a wide stretch of soft white sand that they manicure everything morning. We enjoyed the cabanas every day - there were plenty available on the beach but you do have to wake early to reserve a complimentary one by the pool. The pool is kept super clean. There is a “party pool” where live activities are on the left side; and a quieter side on the right for whatever you prefer. Zen Spa: My husband treated me to a massage for my birthday, and the concierge Wendy assisted him so kindly in arranging it beforehand. They had a promotion going where I received an 80 minute massage for the price of 50 minute - and it was heavenly. The hydrotherapy circuit was not my favorite (an unpopular opinion, I know) but my therapist Jesica gave me the best massage I have EVER had. I loved every minute of it. Staff: Oh man, all the staff we encountered were so wonderful. From the host/hostess to the housekeepers, everyone was so warm and greeted you with their signature hand over their heart. I would really like to thank a few staffers that went above and beyond throughout our stay: Arturo (Punta Vista), Abimael (Beach drink service), Martin (Spice), Jose (coffee shop), Juan and Pedro (Asiana), John David (Bellboy), Jesica (Zen Spa), and countless more! I had some issues with my room during check-in which is why I took off a star. However, my overall experience was awesome. I was able to take advantage of a pilates class with Diana (facilitator) and it was amazing! It was my first pilates class with a reformer and I will gladly enroll into some now that I am back home. I was also able to complete a Mixology class with Antonio and Fernando and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and the staff at Asiana left nothing to be desired. On the last night, my friend and I took advantage of the lobster/tomahawk special and I am glad we did. Luis, our waiter was great. I will be back to the Hyatt in the future.

Absolutely AMAZING! Everything about this place is fantastic. The resort, food, and service -- all spectacular. I came to teach fitness classes through the Fitness Vacation Exchange and just WOW! Best vacation I have ever had. You must get a massage at the spa and try all the restaurants when you are there. This is a true 10/10 experience. Also, this is one of the best beaches I have been to. Beautiful white sand and clear turquoise water...it was heaven. I will definitely be back!!!
