Well the food is pretty good. They give you all the special restaurants in your package and no reservations required. The ocean front room is the bomb room 2518 is awsome! Amazing view. Smaller resort so easy to get around. I really love the beach soft white sand and not a rocky bottom. The waves here are pretty fun. Not...

My family and I (mom, dad and brother) had a wonderful stay at the Gran Caribe. This was our second stay at this resort. We stayed for 7 nights, mid February. Once again we experienced great service from the moment we checked in. Diana at the front desk was very helpful in making sure we had two rooms next to...

While we have gotten in the habit of taking cruise vacations the past few years, we decided that we wanted to support Mexico after all the political crap going on in the USA demeaning their beautiful country. We were happy we did and encourage others to do the same. The Gran Caribe is an older resort that has been maintained...

I have been to a number of resorts around the world- and BY FAR... this one has some of the best people EVER. The head concierge, Gabriela is extremely helpful and will make sure that all of your needs are met. We booked a cabana on the beach yesterday. Best deal EVER! Fernando made sure we were happy with our...

We had a wonderful time at the Grand Caribe thanks to the 5 star accommodations and staff. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Sofia at the front desk for making our second honeymoon spectacular.

We had high hopes for this resort, having researched extensively before booking our family March Break vacation. We have three children, aged 14, 7 and 5, so booked the family junior suite, which has a king bed and triple bunk bed. We booked the trip eight months prior, and specifically chose this resort because of the excellent reviews about service,...

My husband and I decided to take the time to exercise this holiday. We used the gym on site and took a spin class as well as using the treadmills. The gym was very well equipped and spacious. It's hours were easy for everyone to have the opportunity to use it. We had never taken a spin class before and...

My sister and her family along with ours stayed at the Gran Caribe last week. Upon arrival, my sister slipped in her hotel room and ended up with a broken ankle, on crutches and was basically handicapped the whole vacation. Fernando, our Beach Butler accommodated our families and my sister every single day making sure our experience at Gran Caribe...

The beach is the best part. Most workers speak poor english. There are much better hotels in Cancun's hotel zone for service, food quality, entertainment, and security. I observed security make threats to several spring breakers and also take bribes. This hotel is corrupt! I will not return. Next door is a MUCH better hotel, the Hyatt Zilara.

Our mistake for arriving during spring break for sure.... the ocean was gorgeous, the cabana on the beach with a butler for 50 US was really nice!!! Spending time with my wife having a few cold ones was spectacular!! The fresh donuts in the lobby at 530 were scrumptious... I thought everything else was over priced, and most of the...
