The hotel is excellent and so is the attention and service. Its a little far from the more commuted areas in Cancun but it was perfect. The only issue we had was with a bacteria my wife and I caught while visiting. We had terrible experience with that, my wife got Salmonella and I got Proteus, different bacteria, similar effects.
The a/c was programed for 78Deg.. and was very hot and uncomfortable. We complained and they supplied us with 2 oscillating fans. Need to upgrade the air conditioning system.... We were given "hotel credits" that were told can be redeemed at the gift shop. Lo and behold... only 4 items were eligible for redemption.
I’m writing this review from this stunning hotel in Cancun. If you need some couples time, this is the best place! Nizuc hotel and spa in Cancun Mexico. From where to begin, we took the penthouse with private pool in the room. Hubs booked a package with following services. The view is unbelievable! They are super nice. The spa and hydrotherapy are included in our reservation. The massage therapists offered us variety of services, including aromatherapy, hot stone massage, deep tissue followed by an hour of hydratherapy which is an amazing experience in itself! From hot steam room, sauna, to ice cold water, to hot stone bed, to scalp and foot massage all included in our package. We also kayaked and enjoyed the adults only pool. The bar is suBmerged in water. Pretty cool! Now talking about food. It’s amazing 😍 indochime, Peruvian restaurant and morning buffet (which was included in our package). The service, the food is literally out of the world. If you’re staying in a penthouse you get a private butler. Now the cost, it’s on pricier side, but since we were doing only 2 nights for my milestone bday we indulged🙈. It ended up costing us 1900$/night for 2 nights including everything. But we really enjoyed. It was an unforgettable experience! — at Nizuc Resort and Spa.…
Its very expensive, hotels rooms are far from lobby so you depend on golf cars services to take you anywhere. There's no activities music bands disco , nothing . The bar closes at 11. To go to a restaurant taxis charge you $33 Dollars each way (7 minute ride). Internet is slow. Nothing is included and everything is overpriced. Its built around mangroves so lots of mosquitoes.
The Nizuc is a beautiful hotel with excellent service, dining spa beach, pool, tennis court, and accommodations. Unfortunately, the WiFi is highly unstable. So, if you serk a beautiful resort experience, partially disconnected from the world, the Nizuc is the right place to go.
Wife and I had a great time... the service is amazing...very helpful staff. The ambience and setting is top notch. We loved the swim up bar pool area. Food was very good. My only negative were the mosquitos but not really the hotels fault.
Such a beautiful place felt like I was in Paradise. Beautiful scenery, ambiance, and staff who couldn't do enough for you. You have to experience it to believe. Whoever designed this place is pure genius couldn't have done it better myself lol. The wedding was an absolute dream catered and decorated beautifully as you would expect from a top-rate hotel. Well done everyone involved. This is my number 1 vacation yet.
Resort is beautiful.Staff is exceptional and attentive.Food is great. Indochine is a hidden gem. Few things: 1. Mosquitoes at night is a big issue. Have an early dinner to try to avoid. 2. There are hidden steps everywhere. My wife fell right at the lobby entrance before check in and hurt her leg bad and is now in a wheelchair. So to mgmt: a. Find a way to indicate steps that aren’t obvious b. Make restaurants wheelchair accessible c. Room service from restaurants would be good as well
Pros : 1. Beautiful location 2. Spacious rooms 3. Nice beach 4. Hotel designed on a very high level. Beautiful again. The pictures online are true / really beautiful. 5. Butler Andrea was amazing 6. Very good internal transportation and high service from the drivers Cons: 1. Cheap. It is like they try to screw you with money : 1a. Charging extra for espresso in breakfast is outrageous. 1b. I checked out from 2 rooms and paid in full. No debt left. One of the rooms was late check out for my son who left later. When he left they tried to charge him extra 500mxn for tips for the breakfast waiters! Outrageous again. So beautiful hotel really, but they try to screw you on the little things which ruins the experience
This is a breathtaking property situated perfectly on the peninsula of Cancun. It's the kind of place you'd like to check into and not leave during the course of your stay. Unfortunately, the poor quality of food will preclude you from doing so. Nizuc needs to greatly enhance its culinary offerings. It's sad to say that from the buffet each morning to their specialty restaurants, there wasn't much that was enjoyable. While the food is a definite one-star, the quality of the accommodations and property in general is five-star plus and if you don't mind taking a taxi to eat your meals, you'll be fine.
