My best friend and I stayed at Paradisus Cancun 9/5/19-9/12/19 for her 26th birthday. We booked this trip well in advance and opted for the Royal Service. I highly recommend this if you are traveling without children. You get access to your own wing of the resort, a private pool and beach area, and extra restaurants. Because we were there on the off season, the place was basically empty! It was so relaxing. The service both with the butler, and all the staff on the resort is exceptional. We had Galdino who was super helpful and helped us book all of our reservations. He made sure we were ok everyday we stayed at the resort, even on his days off! These guys work SO hard, and even run up and downstairs, through the sand, in the 95 degree heat just to bring you a water. PLEASE TIP THEM. it's the least you can do. Our room was absolutely amazing, we had an ocean view and woke up with the sound of the waves everyday. It was so clean and our mini bar was stocked fresh every single day. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for pure relaxation. The only thing we didn't love was the food. some of the food was honestly inedible. We are from San Francisco, so we may be spoiled in terms of what we are used to...but it was disappointing to not have access to any solid Mexican food, while you're in Mexico... But it wasn't a deal breaker. There are 3 amazing spots across the street that we ended up going to when we needed a break. Thanks so much Paradisus cancun and Galdino! We will be back!

I fell in love with this place on day 1 and it was everything I could have wanted. First off, I have to give a shout out to majority of the staff that works at this resort! These people make this place THAT much better and excellent. Especially Roberto, Josue, Pascal, and many more went over and beyond. They were so attentive, friendly, charming, and helpful with any and everything. Then of course our Butler Norma was sent from above. My group of friends wanted for nothing because of her, and her taking care of all of our needs. She was awesome! This place is HUGE, you could get lost. I had 2 rooms right next to each other and they were spacious, nicely decorated with an impressive layout. Especially the bathroom, beautiful shower and tub. I can’t get over how comfortable the bed was. Huge balcony, I mean I really can’t say enough good things about this place. You just have to experience it. There’s a lot to do on this resort, but in just 3 days we couldn’t do it all but did enough. The food was pretty good, and the drinks were great not watered down at all (Huge plus.)Tip these hard working people if you can, it seriously goes a long way. Kind of hard not to lol. I can’t wait to come back here. Royal service is certainly worth the extra money. I highly recommend this place. There’s something for all ages. You feel so comfortable, highly respected, and at home being here. My group of 4 had nothing but positive things to say about this place. I had such an amazing time and experience here.

Just had the most amazing 5 nights staying at this wonderful resort and highly recommend it to all. If you are going without kids, definitely grab the upgrade package “Royal Service” for better pool, bar and around amazing service. Whilst there grab a day trip to Tulum to see the ancient Mayan temples and community. Then go for an amazing swim at Dos ojos Cenote (Sub-terranian) natural spring. Isla Mujeres day trip also highly recommended! Special thanks to Galdino our host with the most! Scotty and Alba

Very disappointing vacation if you don’t do royal service . They knew it was our honeymoon and they sent a bottle of champagne and tiny slice of cake ... , no flowers, and we got an old outdated room . Other resorts I’ve stayed at they leave cute little towel animals and flower pedals or chocolates . And be forewarned .... there’s ALOT of steps and no railings to get to the beach which was very difficult with a bad knee . The restaurants were extremely hot . 3 restaurants closed for renovations and the ones left were outside and hot . Not much of a selection .... food no good . Breakfast was buffet only every day ... same old stuff . Hard cold pancakes and waffles . Even all the bars ... very hot . I was also told that there was snorkeling available on site . Never seen that . There were some water activities but you will have a long walk down the driveway and across a highway to get to those . I would say that if you get royal service your stay would be better . More food choices and more help with finding things and maneuvering around the huge resort .
