My wife and I just returned today (April 15th) from a 4 night stay at the Park Royal Cancun. It was pretty much a last minute trip, but the Park Royal will be on our short list for future trips to Cancun. It is not a 5 star hotel. It isn't really a 4 star hotel simply because of the...

Our first visit to Cancun WILL NOT be our last. What a great time and Park Royal is a huge part of our good time. The resort is small but in tip top shape and super clean! We stayed in 2 rooms one day a studio and 4 day's Presidential. The studio had no balcony which we did not like...

My 26 year old daughter and I just got back this Sunday, We had a fantastic time! As everyone has said - the entire resort is soooo clean you can eat off the floors. Everyone in the hotel, staff as well as guests, were so friendly and helpful that we wanted for nothing. The weather was very windy and we...

Upon arrival people were very friendly and helpful, but once at counter some receptionist did not speak english that well so it took over average time to get room situation handled . The price we paid($89 x per person a night,) was way too much for the type of room given, it was basically an average hotel room with no...

What started out to be a trip of a lifetime with my best girl friends, turned into a disaster. My dignity was taken from one of the girls and I as we had over $225 stolen from us...right out of our safe too! We turned it into security and hotel management, but they did not care to listen and look...

I just returned from a week stay at the Park Royal with my husband. Here are our thoughts... Location: Could not be better. The ride from the airport was 20 min, max. The hotel is directly across the street from La Isla mall, which is amazing. There are some great restaurants and bars (check out Thai bar for a unique...

My daughter and I stayed at Park Royal Hotel in Cancun (across from La Isla mall) and had a fabulous time. Every person who worked there was very nice. The place was so clean - each and every time we went to the pool bathroom, the maid was just leaving and it was spotless. The lobby, pool areas, bars, restaurants...

Great location across from La Isla Mall. With the exception of the matre'd in the italian restaurant, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We traded in and were in an ambassador's suite, which had a small balcony with a partial ocean view. We were able to pay the extra $40 per night for the presidential suite halfway...

We stayed at this hotel for one week during our March Break, and I must say, it was great. The location of the hotel is superb because it is very close to a big, beautiful shopping mall, in which you can spend your evening. It is about 5 minutes away, by foot, and there is free wireless internet there (starbucks),...

“This was the worse experience of my travel history. I have travelled extensively. Sophia was the worse person to deal with. It was so bad that I checked out of the hotel and went to the Westin. The next day manager Jose was no better. If he could not accommodate he could have been more kind. He did not show any customer service, graciousness or concern for me as a customer. I've been a manager and that is not how you treat irate CustomerS. I email d and spoke with the report to insure my stay would not be filled with upgrades, and insufficient accommodations. When I arrived I received a room that was opposite of my request, no ocenview even though I paid for an uograde. Sophia was less than nice, she blew me off and told me to call in the am. My room had two double beds, my wife and I have been married for 24 years, we've never had to sleep in double beds. This was the worse travel experience but in my life. I'm concerned that Royal Holiday has become so large that people don't matter anymote. The sheer disregard for a person like me that spent countless hours trying to insure that my travel is cperience was excellent. I was let down with no compensation or correction of the problem. Not to mention that when I arrived the lights in my room did not work. I'm appalled that I was handled in this manner. I'm not sure where this organization is going but down would be the dire tiom that I see. ”
