We had a great time at the hotel. Lots of good memories made there. The staff was awesome too. We had a great service from everybody! Those we like to mention Siberio at the reception and Andres (funny guy) at the Shangri-la Restaurant. Well everybody should be mentioned actually. The waves at the beach are nice and strong (for those who like that). The site is cosy and you can feel at home away from home. The Sumo restaurant is suprisingly super good, especialy the suchi and fried shrimps in tempua :P The old barn is good too, good rib steaks and Mr. Tequila is very nice (the guy who always want to bring you tequila (on the picture) Well, i hope you have a good time as we did. enjoy guys! Love youz staf!!! See youz soon

Pleasantly surprised. The room wasn't overly fancy, but clean and comfortable. Food at most all inclusive resorts isn't very good, but this resort had 5 different restaurant options and were all good! Carmen the server at the outdoor cabanas was amazing!

We travel to an all inclusive resort each year with our traveling buddies. We booked on shorter notice than usual and didn't do as much research as we typically did. This resort is in no way a 4.5, a 4, or even a 3.5 star. It was extremely dated, hot, rooms were musty and did I say HOT!?!? Miserably hot. They never cooled down. The jokes in the pool all day were around whose room got the coolest the night before would have to buy everyone else a round. We switched rooms in hopes of getting a cooler room, there were none to be found. Food was adequate at best. Our friends were served chocolate covered strawberries in their room for some of the inconveniences they experienced, they were molded! The outside food area closest to the pool was filthy and the food was equally as bad. This was one of the only times we left a resort just to go somewhere to get a good, clean and air conditioned meal! You get what you pay for with this one (sort of.) Do your homework and/or lower your expectations!

I don't even know where to start, because I am so happy with this all-inclusive. The staff was very attentive and kind. I would like to give special props to consierges Wendy and Joan went above and beyond. Manager GIlberto must be very pleased with them. The front desk was always amazing, and I'd like to single out Daniel for his high energy in helping out. I barely speak Spanish, but his English skills carried the day. While the bartenders were very good, my favorite part was the dining. This is my third time at the Golden Parnassus, and I was surprised at how much people remembered my spouse and me. I felt like Norm walking into Cheers everywhere I went. Julio at the Breeze makes the best chicken wings and hot dogs around. I had forgotten that I even like hot dogs until I had his. Paulina makes wonderful crepes - a real delight! The breakfast staff including Gaspar, Gamaliel, Oscar, and Carlos (among others whose names I don't remember) were so friendly! When the cappuccino/espresso machine went down, Carlos made a cuppuccino by hand as good as any you could find west of Italy. The Parnassus has a variety of restaurants for dinner. On this stay, I particularly enjoyed the Shangri La led by its manager Javier. Javier is a professional and an artist! I felt like royalty when at the Shangri La, and it is thanks to his attentive care. New (to me, at least) is the Brasilian-styled Rodizio restaurant. It is a carnivore's paradise. I think I ate at the Japanese-themed Sumo restaurant the most. I was not trying to lose weight when I was there, and I'm glad! A few other staff members stand out in their duties. Jamel, who is head of housekeeping I think, was especially kind in an completely unexpected way. Also every one of the lifeguards, Miguel, Rodolfo, and Jonathan did more than make my spouse and me feel safe; we felt welcome, and Miguel even helped with an injury. The facilities at the Golden Parnassus are very good, but it is the kindness - surprising kindness - that keeps me coming back.

where do i start? well, i've been to ALL 7 continents & over 90 countries. i've stayed in hostels & 7* accommodations, and don't usually like AI's. however, the Parnassus is different. it's the perfect size AI. i've been there 3 times now, and even after not going for years, the staff still remembered my partner & me, and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. gilberto there runs a beautiful operation. the concierges - wendy & joan, did everything possible to help us out whilst there. daniel, the new guy @ the front desk, was so very eager to please & energetic. he spoke great english & would run to & fro to get us whatever we needed (even if it was a signature cocktail when we looked parched, lol). yamel was so kind & always checked up to see that our stay was the best. one day when i was not well, she offered to have the kitchen make a special meal of home-made soup for me, wow. the afternoon crepes made by paulina were to die for. and the chicken wings made @ the breeze bar by the pool were a must have daily. nobody i've ever met makes wings & burgers as good as julio's there. :-) all the restaurants were top notch, but we have to do a shout out to javier & andres @ the Shangri La. they made us speciality food & drink that really made us feel like VIPs. of course the breakfast staff, that has been there for years(gama. gaspar, oscar, & carlos) welcomed us back with open arms. julian @ the tour desk by the beach towels was also just a very special soul. lastly, i cannot say enough about miguel the lifeguard and his crew(rodolfo & jonathon). i had an injury re-occur whilst there, and he took excellent care of me. there is plenty of variety of restaurants, & tone of variety on the room service menu as well. i just can't say enough about this place. it's the people who work there & sincerely make you feel like you matter that makes this the place to stay. and... who can resist the view from paradise???

A wonderful first trip to Cancun. Possibly the friendliest hotel staff in the world. Drinks and food were great. Over pouring is common! Food in the buffet was good if you like real Mexican cuisine. Empanadas for breakfast!! The restaurants within the resort were very good. Cooked my filet rare just like I wanted. Jacuzzi room overlooking the ocean was fabulous. Activities and entertainment were pretty good. I will definitely return.

Great location and views of sea and lagoon so if you book sea view you also get to see sunrise and if you choose lagoon view you see Sunset from your balcony. Welcome Home is their greetings when you reach. Rooms were very nice and spacious. Free and fast internet . The staff at all of the restaurants were very welcoming. Particularly Heider at Paradise buffet was superb with his attention and courtesy. The food was great in all the restaurants and Pier12, Sangrila and Sumo can easily compete with 5* restaurants. Pool and beach were also quite good. All sorts of cocktails were made for you with a smile . Overall great few days . Tours were arranged at normal rates. The onsite jewellery shop had a great range of stone setting at good prices. Sales lady was knowledgeable and again very patient and courteous.

Spent a long weekend here with a bunch of friends, it was really cheap for how nice everything was. Our room was way larger than expected and had a stocked fridge and some snacks on the counter. The staff were very friendly and the amenities were great. Will definitely stay again.

The staff is amazing....we travel a lot and it is - without a doubt - the best staff we encounter. Fonzy, Juan, Jose, Carmen, Fermin, Edith, Diana....just to name a few. The beach bbq and Fiesta night were awesome and the food was very good. We stayed in a lagoon side room (have done the ocean side and ocean side golden prior) and actually it was our favorite.
