Wow we had such a great time here! The food was incredible, the drinks were amazing and the staff made it this way. Erbernau was the first friendly face we saw and he was a delight to work with. Then we worked with Ivan who helped us check in and gave us great tips about how to enjoy our time before we can go to the room. The food was our favorite part and the 4 different restaurants made it so. Yamal, Oscar, Samuel, and Daniel worked with service and were very friendly, attentive and made you feel so welcomed. The chefs (unfortunately I dont remember their names) must have been professionally trained because while the food was not spicy it was still extremely flavorful, if u want spice just ask for it and you'll definitely get it lol :) . At the spa I got to work with Connie and Maggie and it was exactly what I needed after all our excursions. They asked me if I had any problem areas and tailored the message to fit my needs. The activities staff were also so great! They made the activities fun and engaging from their aqua aerobics and beach volley ball to the mexican pool party night! And lastly the Bar!!!! I didnt get to work with all the bartenders but Jose and Carlos were awesome!!! They made recommendations and could make everything we asked for. The staff and food were definitely the highlight....the only downside was the facility. The owners can definitely make some renovations. When it rained it leaked in the lobby and the running water had a smell (not the pools). Other than that Golden parnassus was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. My HUSBAND :D and I had a wonderful time!

After an annoying and rough first day at Cancun, we were so grateful to stumble upon Golden Parnassus! Our original hotel was supposed to be at the Grand Oasis but thanks to a clerical error and completely unhelpful staff, our room confirmation somehow got lost and we were stranded in Cancun with nowhere to stay. After desperately looking online to book another room for our 5 days there, I stumbled on a fairly priced Golden Parnassus and booked it right away without looking into the hotel at all. When my boyfriend and I got there, we were greeted with such care and positivity by Cesar! The check-in was smooth and even though we had booked 20 minutes before we got there, our room was already ready and waiting for us. The whole stay was wonderful and the staff was by far the best part about the whole trip! We can't wait to come back.

The people who work there, make it delightful! The Dolphin Bar and Shangri-la need to be open! Other than that our room was hot because of the evening sun. May have to ask maintenance to adjust the thermostat next time. We plan on going back in December. The 60's bar wasn't open when we were there in May. Need more entertainment during the day and at night. I felt totally safe with the Covid . Temp cks at each restaurant.

If you are looking for a comfy room, great food, entertainment, get a little tipsy and have a blast, this is NOT the place for you! Upon arrival, although we’d been there several times, we were not made aware of their covid restrictions. We went to the grill to eat which usually was open at all times and it was closed, went to the pier where the lady was frantic saying they closed at 9 and had a 45 min wait. Buffet was confusing and looked to have not much of anything and the barn was closed. So we ate at Sumo, and he looked a little stressed when we walked in. But all was well. We stayed 9 days, so I’m sure we got the whole experience, good and bad. It seems the only good reviews come from the people that have been there 20 times+ so ignore any of their reviews and fb group posts. Liquor was watered down, did not come close to getting drunk in nine days. Everything shuts down at 11. At least 40+ people in the 60s bar at 11 and they literally came in and shut all the lights off. People were going off site to buy alcohol or paying staff to get them some elsewhere. I didn’t meet one person that hadn’t been off site for a dinner or two, which is ridiculous for an all inclusive resort. The rooms were nothing at all special. Seems they did an update by painting everything in the room white (walls furniture ect.) 2 thin drawers for clothes in the entertainment center, 10 hangers in the closet, not enough towels or washcloths unless you tipped housekeeping well. The safe had no lock. You have to pay for WIFI. And then the storm came, and OMG leaks everywhere! Buckets and towels on floors, the whole window side of the 60s bar was puddled. The floors in sixties bar were old and damaged the pool tables damaged, the bartender couldn't make drinks for nothing.. and they played this random playlist every night, some good songs some not haha. Food was ok once we ate a few places and figured out where to go. But i did get sick on our 7th day from something at a restaurant as well as another person we had dinner with (lasted 5 days) In 9 days there was only one night w a shoe/entertainment. During day was exercise and some Volleyball. Beach had crazy amounts of seaweed (noones fault). Good things: i love the jacuzzi on the beach, the original staff that have been there all the times we’ve gone are still great. Drinks are delicious but lacking alcohol. And Fortunately we had decent AC. We did have fun and met great people. Until they make some major renovations and quit trying to cut costs where it counts, i do not recommend this place whatsoever. We came w low expectations haha but not low enough!

As always I had a fabulous stay at the Golden Parnassus Resort. The fact that you are right on the beautiful beach is also a massive plus point. The food is great, the restaurant staff service are excellent. The food in the main buffet restaurant was also good, yes it was very similar every day, but the choice was immense so you could have something different every time during your stay if you chose to. Would definitely recommend pool/beach bar - they were fabulous and the service was excellent. All staff were really helpful and friendly but i would like to give a special mention to; Ramona my lovely room housekeeping Isidro at the concierge Alfonso, Antonio, Carlos and Jesus at the bar They are the real asset to the resort. Overall the staff service are excellent. I would only say that the hotel require to be updated and to be renovated, bedroom look quite old and needs to refurbish the toilet, but the most of the time I'm not in the room so nothing to be concerned of. Will definitely be returning always! I feel at home at the Golden Parnassus Resort.
