Horrible Hotel - Our room got wet every rain shower , the water came through the bottom of the walls . The room smelled when we first arrived as if something had died in there . When brought to there Attention nothing was done about the flooding in the room that went all over the room continued. We asked for towels the second day Because the towels we had I used to stop the water from coming in to the room . The Hotel is poorly run . The front Desk personnel were not helpful at all I asked for the room to be cleaned it was never done I had to clean the water myself. The maintenance man came to the room and couldn’t figure out where the water was coming from . There was never an attempt by the Front Desk or staff to fix any of the issues we had . I’m just glad we only stayed a few days . I asked to speak to the hotel manager but was completely ignored . I called the hotel and was put on a 17 minute hold then they hanged up the phone I could never get through again BC they don’t answer the phone .…

If you’re English then don’t go here, they only really cater for Mexican and Colombian. The pictures are nothing like what is actually there. The staff are friendly enough, especially the waiters and waitresses, bar staff are great apart from a lad called segcundino, he talks to others about you and then laughs at you, he doesn’t like to serve you, it’s like he hates other nationalities. The food is pretty bland and basic and you can tell that they reheat the leftovers from lunch to serve at tea. The small beach is ok but you have no privacy what so ever as tourists that are going out on catermerans are marching past then gathering around where you’re seated. The bloke who cleans the sea does a great job in getting rid of the debris but there’s still food and oil in the water from the charter boats. …

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. It was super noisy. We heard a guy getting sick in the room above ours all night, so no sound proofing. On the day of our checkout, which was at 12pm, a housekeeper knocked on our door, waking us up at 8:30am. Also, the beach is not nice. There is a large dock, and there are tour groups walking through the resort early in the mornings and later on, going on catamaran tours and making a lot of noise. Then to top it off they tried to charge me an extra $82usd at checkout because my son was 17 and not 11 (at first they said I told them he was 1 years old) even though I wrote down he was 17 and they put a bracelet on him during check in. I also checked off that he was 17 on hotels.com when i booked the 2 rooms. I also sent them at whatsapp message with his passport (that has his age on it). We did not have the all inclusive option so there was no reason for this extra charge, other then them trying to rip me off!!! Horribly ran hotel. Do not stay here.…

Hi, I wish that I didn’t need to write this letter but this hotel has transformed our vacation in a nightmare. We paid for an all inclusive hotel 3 stars in front of the beach and got totally deceived. In our 5 days stay in this hotel not only the low standard but also the employees treatment to us make that we don’t even want to leave the room and worst we have 3 days left. I will explain in point form our experience. • The beach. It’s NOT a beach. It’s a boat harbor for a turist agency . Swim and enjoy the beach it’s inexistente and if you insist to take a bath in this little plot of water its dangerous because all the motor oil from the boats. So the dream to enjoy the beach and enjoy with our daughter in the beach it’s got totally destroyed. We need to run around Cancun in this hot weather to find other beaches, this is a big streets factor from who only really want to come and relax and recovery the energy. • The food. Besides that the variety is minimal, the quality is extremely bad, too much oil and old food. You can see that they recycle old food from several days and serve us again. The must funny is that they have a menu for the buffe, and everyday it’s has a teme but the chef’s don’t make it. I remember the Italian day, the only Italian food they have was a overcooked pasta in some cream, we could even look at that. I’m diabetic and I only drink sugar free coca-cola, but I can feel afterwards that sometimes they give me normal coca-cola. And the juice don’t even taste fruits only chemicals. • The room. The standard is low, the furniture are halv broken, no warm water in the shower and the air conditioner sounds like broken car. In the morning and afternoon lot of tourists walk in front of our window because of the turist boats in the beach. • The pool security. One time I told my 4 years daughter to take a shower at the shower by the pool, the security came and fight with her turned the shower of and said that she only was allowed to wash her feets after the beach. When I told him that he was wrong he stand in front of the shower with spreader legs and begin to clean his sunglasses with so much arrogance and aggressiveness that I took my child and run. • The employees at the restaurant. We buy a turist adventure package who pick us up at the hotel at 7:00, at the same time that the breakfast buffet opened. I decided to go to the restaurant 5 minutes before and see if I could bring with me some food they don’t let us in and after they even run after us taking away our sandwiches from our hands. The feeling is that they are not flexible and don’t let us eat. • The tourist packet. We decided to pay the package half in cash and halv with the card. The women who saled the adventure took more 34$ American and when we complained she said that she was given us another adventure wish was cheaper. When we was at the turist bus in our way to the adventure they told us that the adventure that the women saled to us was free. So we got deceived. In our way to see the hotel are also responsible that the agencies they offer are trustworthy. • The bugs. Their is a lot of cockroaches at the night. • The internet, you need to enter the password all the time and sometimes it even has network. We really feel that we have been deceived because is not was it’s says at the page the reality is so extremely opposite we came for vacation and not to live in a hell. …

I would like to start this review after reading some other by reminding travelers not to rate this hotel in comparison to a 5*, it is not fair and that is not what you paid for. Now, for the good. This hotel was incredibly clean, the staff were amazing and friendly, a special shout out to Manuel, Victor and Issac at the main pool bar! They took great care of us, joked around and made everyday light, fun and very enjoyable. I am not sure of my housekeepers name, but my room was cleaned early and spotless all week, small secret leave a couple dollars a day, they appriciate it and it is well worth it. The food was good, Jesus at the omelet bar made a fantastic breakfast, but there was only one buffet and it could be repetitive. Lots of great local restaurants within walking, so try something different to change up the week. The beach was small, but the pool was super clean and maintained every day, smaller resort so it was never crowded. I will wrap up by saying I would definitely go back, this resort was an amazing price with a great location and fantastic staff who will take great care of you. If you want to stay at a 5*, they pay for it, but if you want a great week at a fantastic price, then check out this little hidden gem!…

I stayed at this hotel last year this same week. I love the hotel. The staff is very attentive and the hotel grounds and rooms are very clean. Food is average but plentiful and readily available. Very few Americans and most of the staff is only Spanish speaking which is most understandable. We hope to come back next year with our family. Also, email them on there website and questions or requests, they are very good at responding.

I have to say that this is a terrible Hotel. There's no Elevador, there's No Beach( since the Beach os a Marina and Impossible tô swim in a Water Full of oil because of the boatos) The Good is not good at all. The only good thing good of the hotel os the People who work there. There are Very kind and polite. I was supposed to stay there for seven nights. I could not stand.it and only stayed for 3 nights. After changing HOTEL and going to ALL Ritmo Resort and Water Park, everything got better. Also,Very small.pool. Since the People who come for the boats pass inside the Hotel, there's no Security whatsowver. Célio from Brazil

The room was bad -- smelly and dirty. On the second day of our stay, it stormed in Cancun for one day. During and after that for the rest of our stay, we only had one sandwich for breakfast, and very limited food for lunch and dinner (one dish and a salad). I started going outside of the resort to get food because I started getting bad stomach issues. Twice they told me at the bar that they are out of beer, and at the same time, they had canned beer for sale at the same bar. All other alcohol like Jose Cuervo, Red Johnnie Walker, and basic Captain Morgan was considered as “Premium Alcohol”, and was not included in the All-Inclusive package deal. All we had available for us was warm local tequila. One 8 oz bottle of water in the room per person for a whole day and a night. Guests who spoke Spanish had a service priority over others who don’t – probably because the staff didn’t speak English pretty much at all. A few times I tried talking to the managers about our problems, but just got responses like – the general manager is not here today. Tried calling Expedia from there to ask for a different resort, but after being on hold for an hour and a half, I hung up. Very disappointed with the service in this resort.…

Just stayed a week at this hotel. I booked it because it was very reasonable. We enjoyed the hotel, the staff was very nice and the room clean and over looking the Caribbean. Only one beach/pool bar but had everything you needed. The restaurant was over the sea and offered 3 meals per day (buffet only) with very strict hours per meal time. Food was 'comfort food' but good. Pool and grounds clean. The seaweed is very bad in Cancun. Two guys rake and clean a small area in front of the hotels beach for guest every day. EASY to take the local bus to the shopping areas in the hotel zone and downtown Cancun. The bartenders are accommodating to get drinks that they don't have, but they EXPECT big gratuities for going out of there way. We asked for wine the 1st night and they said they didn't have wine. The next night they had it which we appreciated but the bartender shamed/embarrassed me into a large tip. It was very inappropriate in front of other guests some of what he said to me. I will certainly stay here again.…
