The room was bad -- smelly and dirty. On the second day of our stay, it stormed in Cancun for one day. During and after that for the rest of our stay, we only had one sandwich for breakfast, and very limited food for lunch and dinner (one dish and a salad). I started going outside of the resort to get food because I started getting bad stomach issues. Twice they told me at the bar that they are out of beer, and at the same time, they had canned beer for sale at the same bar. All other alcohol like Jose Cuervo, Red Johnnie Walker, and basic Captain Morgan was considered as “Premium Alcohol”, and was not included in the All-Inclusive package deal. All we had available for us was warm local tequila. One 8 oz bottle of water in the room per person for a whole day and a night. Guests who spoke Spanish had a service priority over others who don’t – probably because the staff didn’t speak English pretty much at all. A few times I tried talking to the managers about our problems, but just got responses like – the general manager is not here today. Tried calling Expedia from there to ask for a different resort, but after being on hold for an hour and a half, I hung up. Very disappointed with the service in this resort.

Just stayed a week at this hotel. I booked it because it was very reasonable. We enjoyed the hotel, the staff was very nice and the room clean and over looking the Caribbean. Only one beach/pool bar but had everything you needed. The restaurant was over the sea and offered 3 meals per day (buffet only) with very strict hours per meal time. Food was 'comfort food' but good. Pool and grounds clean. The seaweed is very bad in Cancun. Two guys rake and clean a small area in front of the hotels beach for guest every day. EASY to take the local bus to the shopping areas in the hotel zone and downtown Cancun. The bartenders are accommodating to get drinks that they don't have, but they EXPECT big gratuities for going out of there way. We asked for wine the 1st night and they said they didn't have wine. The next night they had it which we appreciated but the bartender shamed/embarrassed me into a large tip. It was very inappropriate in front of other guests some of what he said to me. I will certainly stay here again.

It's not the greatest hotel for most people but for me ,it's great . I have made several friends with the workers such as Hilda ,Noe ,Humberto and Esubio. I have been going there every year since 2003 (except for Covid). Yes ,there have been some screw ups here and there but they have always fixed things to make it right .And the food in the old days was so so but now it's far better. I've heard it all from others but I will be going back when things are Covid safe .

Looks relaxing and tranquil Far from it. Feel sorry for anyone that pays more for room with one of the private pools (not private - you’re right next to the bar area and pool full of kids) I was in the ocean view on the second floor of this photo. It drove me insane. All day music blasting from the back pool combined with children screaming and every now and then a woman starts shouting tour deals over the music using a microphone. You have the balcony doors open and there’s the music from the beach bar. Doors slamming constantly. Service times inconveniently at 4/5pm when I’m having my vacation pre-party naps. The whole vibe is messed up. Mornings after nights out I was woken at 5am to kids running around screaming and banging doors. Nights when I had trips and had to be up super early I just had to sacrifice feeling like crap because a sleep before midnight is not an option. No need for wake up call with the kids slamming doors at 5am tho. The place needs to decide what it wants to be and advertise it as that. It’s not adults only and it’s not family because there’s no children’s entertainment apart from a crappy looking pool. Music in the day is cheesy dance music and on a night it’s Spanish opera style music. The bar & the pool are near each other but play different music so you get a combination of both in the ocean view rooms. It’s one big headache is what it is! This is coming from someone who likes a good vibe, half partier/half traveller-sightseer. I can only describe it as an absolute dive!

Originally booked in a regular room which was dingy at best, we asked to be upgraded to one of their jacuzzi rooms(an additional $35.00 per night), after we paid for the room we found out the jacuzzi didn’t work, and did not have a heater. The buffet style food was very limited and not really tasty. The bar(all-inclusive) was only open from 11am to 9pm with very limited amount of drinks offered. We were told that we could go buy alcohol, and the bar would store it for us. Picture is of the non-working jacuzzi with a beautiful sunset

We were placed here at the last minute by the tour organizer. Said our reservation had been changed. The place was old, filthy, and loud. Construction in middle of the night. Cockroaches in room. The all inclusive was a joke. Hamburgers hot dogs at the bar or a buffet that was set up at breakfast lunch and dinner. The food was horrible as I am not a big buffet fan. Additional room tax mysteriously added after check in. Stay away

What a great place to stay. We are a family of 7, our meals and accommidations were reasonably priced. The meal time were convient for fullday excursions with an early breakfast, snacks, lunch, snacks, and late dinners!!! Adult beverages were included as well as soda, juice and water for the kids! They have an inground pool, and private beach! We would gladly stay there again!!!
