My husband and I stayed there for one night as distressed passengers. I didn't even know this hotel existed and had very low expectations. When the front desk staff learned I was a Titanium Elite Marriott member, I was upgraded to a suite with no issues. The bed was super-comfy. The bathroom was super-clean. The drinks in the lobby were good. Checkout took 3 seconds. The room had a coffee machine, microwave, and fridge. The outdoor pool is beautiful and so are the outdoor spaces. The hotel design is modern and impressive. I'd stay there again.

Don’t do it. We booked here as we were arriving late, and were staying elsewhere for 9 days. Oh, and did I mention that I am titanium for life? Yep, that me and I still have to pay for a cup of coffee 😀 Checked in online, and paid using a credit card the day before. Arrived at the airport, called the 800 number. Yep, it didn’t work. Called the local number and they hung up on me. Called back, they told me where to go for the shuttle. Shuttle arrives, says Fairfield Inn and Courtyard. Driver says we have to wait for Fairfield shuttle, as he only goes to Courtyard. Wait another 20 minutes. Get on shuttle that says same thing. Drops off first at the courtyard which is probably less than a 100 feet from the Fairfield. Get in line to check in, wait 10 minutes. Front desk clerk asks name on reservation. Keyboard taps for about 7 minutes, finally says that he found our reservation. Clerk says I need to pay for the room, doesn’t understand the app, and that I had previously paid. So, I paid again. Shuffles around for room key, hands me an envelope which had about 10 room numbers crossed out, and our room number not crossed out. Asks for $5.00 room key deposit. Strange but ok. Get on elevator, dirty socks left on floor. Ok. Go to room, try the key, it doesn’t work. Try it again, still doesn’t work. Go downstairs, speak with the clerk, keyboard taps for about 10 minutes, gets on radio calls someone and finally says to me that the key machine is broken, but he called someone who would let us in our room. I said great, I haven’t eaten all day and we were in desperate need of food, so how would we be able to get back in our room. He shrugged his shoulders. Went back upstairs, waited 15 minutes, still no guy to let us in our room. By this time I felt like Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and automobiles. Went back downstairs and there was another gentleman working as well. I told him that I was going to the convenience store next door to buy a coke and a beer, and by the time I got back, I had better have a key. He said that their key machine was still broken. I said, probably not so politely that I had seen millions of room keys be programmed, and that it takes seconds, not hours. Came back in a couple of minutes and he handed me a key. Of course he wanted a second room key deposit of $5.00. At this point, ok. Go to the room, and my wife is no where to be found. Ooops she’s in the room, an employee just let her in. Room, wasn’t great and wasn’t terrible, but there were only two small scratchy towels. Called down, guess what, out of towels. Went to the small restaurant downstairs had a sandwich, my wife had a salad , not bad reasonably priced. Looked out at the pool, guess what, pool towels. Checked out after breakfast in the morning. Only got one room key deposit back, oh well. Paid for the room twice, oh well. This will probably not be the hotel’s favorite review, oh well.

We stayed here for 1 night for our early flight the next day, This hotel is just what we need, clean and big enough room for two and free shuttle ride to airport and free breakfast is a plus. We get more for what we paid for, i will definitely recommend fairfield.

I have stayed in several of the airport Fairfield inns around the Americas and they are a comfortable, if bare bones, place to rest at the airport. The customer service is horrible though. I left my winter coat in the women's bathroom on the first floor and, 5 months later, I am still waiting to hear back from them to see if they can give it back to me. I have talked to the reception area several times, send Facebook messages, asked them to mail me my coat (I told them I would pay for it), talked to and email the Housekeeper office, and I also went personally to retrieve it at the airport, but after all that, and many promises to give it back (they acknowledge they have it) nobody has been able to do so. I guess somebody decided to have a new winter coat although it's useless in Cancun? I am appalled about the lack of professionalism and customer service of this hotel.

We stayed for one night because our flight was cancelled. Our room was possibly the smallest hotel room I have stayed in. It was a no frills experience to say the least. We received two very rough towels and had to ask for additional ones. There was a horrible sewer smell in our bathroom, we had to keep the bathroom door closed. There was a $5.00 deposit required for our plastic room key card! We went next door for dinner at the Marriott Courtyard which I would recommend. Definitely a step up, dinner on the patio was good, reasonable with a friendly and tentative staff and great atmosphere.
