My fiancé and I booked our trip last minute and we picked the above property. When looking at the pictures online it looked a little outdated but we still gave it a try. WOW when we entered the resort it was completely different than the photos online. They are currently going under renovation. EVERY FOOD STATION WAS AMAZING! We highly recommend this resort! The staff members were so passionate and nice and we never felt uncomfortable!

very rude front desk staff. They wouldn't allow the use of hotel bathrooms after checkout. Food quality is a disaster, bland food. Really hard to get reservation at their restaurants and even if you were able to, the food was again possibly the lowest quality. Villa smelt like mold and mildew. The water wasn't draining in the villa and would stay in the sink and bath tub.

It was an excellent stay, we were helped by their friendly and very helpful staff, starting off with their bellboys Gilberto, Juan, Jose, Nico, and Juan. They always went out of their way to assist us with recommendations and to call Taxi whenever we needed it. All the staff were very attentive, our bartender from the beach bar named Adrian made great drinks and made sure we were taken care off. There was one waiter From La Vista Restaurant who stood out his name is Jimmy. His energy, demeanor and treatment was the definition of excellent customer service. He made my husbands birthday dinner memorable because he went above and beyond, he made sure we didn’t go thirsty for a minute, and was on top of every detail. We will definitely come back to this resort when we come back to Cancun. Thank you to all the staff that interacted with us… you guys are awesome!…

Came here for a wedding and we had a great time. The staff is super friendly (shout out to Edwin and Victor who were the best!) and took great care of us the entire time. Resort was very safe and clean. Beach area is private to the resort so only guests are around.

This is a nice resort for its price. Costco travel is the way to go From our waiter Jimmy at the Brazilian Steak house was amazing kept the drinks coming. To Victor at the Pina food place. The food is okay… not bad but not the greatest Gilberto, Jose, Nico and Juan bellboys From the day we arrived to the day we left provided amazing service and greeted us with a smile. Thank you again. Just returned from 6 days at the Wyndham Grand Cancun. I read reviews about the food and drink and yes, it’s true. The food was average, not worth eating a second time. Fills you up but left you wanting actual flavor. And the sweets? Not just light sugar which I expect of Mexican sweets, but zero sugar and flavor. So disappointing. And the one thing I never read it any reviews? All poolside bars closed at 6pm and the only place for any beverages is the lobby bar. Then the pools and jacuzzi close at 8pm. You can’t even enjoy a swim or soak after dark, after dinner. Wow, that’s why we came, to enjoy it all and soak it up. But no, nothing left to do after dinner. We did their little shows at 8pm but not much to write about. Would have preferred the pools at night. At least it made it easy to not join the vacation club we had to sit thru for 2 hours. The positives of our stay? The room was nice and the hotel staff are all very nice. It’s just not enough with bad food, pools and bars closed, to ever want to return or recommend to anyone. …

The staff at the Wyndham Grand is amazing - we love how they treat us like royalty!!! My mom and I came down for 4 days to relax. It's our 21st year at this resort. It used to be the Omni and a beautiful pink color. They have updated the rooms and the new ones are spectacular. There are great activities for families, singles, etc.

The Wyndham Grand Resort is the absolute best place to stay in Cancun! We just got back from our 12th visit there and it just gets better every time. The staff are the most hardworking and friendliest people you will ever meet. Every employee works so hard to make your vacation perfect. I would like to specifically thank several people who made our last stay....and previous vacations amazing: - Petro & Claudia from the vacation club staff are the reason that we signed up to become members at this resort. They are available ANY TIME to help you plan your trip, make your reservations, schedule transportation, book an excursion, or anything you need to make your trip wonderful. I met Petro last year and he turned our already incredible trip into one where we would be coming back for many more years. Petro and Claudia talked to us about the benefits of the vacation club, went over our future plans to vacation, and presented us with an offer that we couldn't refuse (with ZERO sales pressure). It was a no brainer for us because we already love the resort and the staff, but the benefits of being a member make your experience the absolute best! Petro and Claudia work so hard and we appreciate their help and generosity during our stays. They are wonderful people that we now call forever friends! - Noel - We get up every morning and make a trip to eat breakfast with Noel at La Vista. We met Noel a few years ago and instantly became our go to guy. We request him every morning for breakfast and he always greats us with a hug and the biggest smile. He always remembers our order and brightens our day. A+++ - Enrique - Enrique started waiting on us during our first visit and made an everlasting impression on us to where we look forward to seeing him every year. He has worked at the resort for over 30 years and does an excellent job taking care of you for dinner. We enjoy his company every time we dine with him and take a picture with him every year! - Francisco - Francisco is also a friend that we met many years ago and always takes such good care of us. I believe he told me he has now worked at the resort for 22 years. He is so friendly and always remembers our names and exactly what we like to drink. He is such a hard worker who never takes a break and is always looking to see how he help you next. - Orlando and Martin - The best bartenders in the business! Both of these guys do an excellent job working the bar while making the environment so fun and entertaining. Martin is so talented. He creates art from coconuts and pineapples that you can drink out of....and they are amazing! He is so creative and his drinks are always so good. I have to get a different one each visit just so I can take a picture with it! - .Juan (The Juan & Only) - We met Juan during our first night at DiVinci and he made our night so much fun! He is so nice, funny, and entertaining! He had us laughing from the time we sat down until we left. We made a request to have him again the next night and we made sure to get his contact information so we can stay in touch. He is an awesome guy....make sure you request him at Divinci! -Elvia - The absolute best pool waitress ever! She works so hard around the pool make sure you have everything you need. She is so friendly and we appreciate her always being there with a smile and a refill :) - Luis Piste - We met Luis during our last trip and he was a great Manager. He would always speak to us and ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. He was very nice to my family and we look forward to seeing him next time. - Sol Morales - I was introduced to Sol last year by a great friend that used to work at Wyndham (Emi Villarreal) and I'm so glad he did. Sol is ALWAYS working, but finds the time to always speak to us, send us notes/gifts to our room, and make sure our stay is the absolute best. She is a top notch Manager and is another reason why we chose to become members at this resort. She is so welcoming and happy that you chose her resort for your vacation. She told me that a vacation should never cause you any stress and if I needed anything to please come see her. It was really nice to know that someone that high up in the company is available to make sure we enjoy our stay. Thank you Sol. Everything about this resort is perfect! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The food and drinks are always delicious. The pool and lounge area gives you a perfect view of the beautiful blue water. The shows in the evenings are fun and entertaining. I have already told you about some of my favorite staff members, but EVERY employee there is giving 100% to make sure you enjoy your stay. I could go on and on, but just take my advice and book your stay now...you won't regret it! I just contacted my good friend Petro to make our reservation for us to come back in July.
