Great people and excellent service at this hotel. Especially from Carlos Dominguez, Natael, Luis and Pedro at the hotel bar. They were quick, friendly and kind. Awesome people! The resort had safety precautions which we also appreciated. The restaurants were good but I wish the hotel front desk would tell you some tips about the restaurants because two of the days, we didn’t know we needed reservations for dinner. So we ended up just going to the buffet. Also, a lot of the resort was closed or either minimal hours which also they did not tell us. Other then the small things, I would definitely recommend the hotel to my friends and family.
First, this was a quick 5 day getaway for me, my fiance and our two teenage kids. We wanted a relatively inexpensive escape from the WI winters, and booked here because of the relatively lower cost and short drive from the airport. HIGHS - The beach, it's a huge property and their beach is gorgeous. The hotel does not upcharge for use of the palapas and beach beds, and does have wait staff on the beach for food and drink. The hotel is older, but is generally well kept - particularly the gardens and common areas. LOWS - Half of the restaurants are closed, those that are open have long waits. After the first night we decided to use the money we saved booking a cheaper resort to eat in Cancun - best decision we made. Drinks are all rail liquors, and are generally sugary gut bombs. There is zero wait staff around the pool, which is a huge area. There is zero entertainment for families, all of the entertainment was in the adult-only bars. Overall its a good value for anyone looking to book Cancun on the cheap. Don't expect great service, great food & drinks.…
Yanin’s service was spectacular in our stay at Grand Oasis! She has always gone above and beyond for my boyfriend and I. During our check in, they didnt have a king size bed available for us initially, after a couple of days she found one and made sure to relocate us asap! Without us asking, she made us a reservations for a show at the red cabaret and it was the best part of the trip. Food and beach was amazing as usual!
Esteban provided exceptional service at Bahia Steakhouse. He was always attentive to our needs and recommended great food and wine. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. By far the best restaurant within the Grand Oasis Resort. Ángeles brought our food in a timely manner. Very kind individuals!
This hotel was horrible !!! I have been to Cancun before and I visited grand oasis for a foam party, the party was wonderful it was a great party, the hotel looked soo nice. So for my 29th birthday I decided to book this hotel with a group of friends for a couples/ friends bday trip and it’s been the worst trip ever. We were told that we had to pay 380 for a pyramid bracelet , but half of our party missed their flight and got to Mexico at midnight. When they reached at grand oasis they said they would give them a feee upgrade and gave them horrible rooms which were a downgrade from their rooms that they originally paid for. The bathroom was filthy, the toilet was leaking, the bathtub had a brown rim around it, the shower head was moldy with blue/ greenish mold around it, the vents also had mold and dust around it, the curtains were rusty with dead bug stains on it. …
