It was a great experience. AKerzali was a great server. Great customer service. The restaurant and food were great. Me and my boyfriend both enjoyed our stay. We strongly recommend this place. Rooms were great and clean.
Such an a bartender! Filemon was a great guy and helped us with everything he was extremely kind and funny. Made great drinks and recommendations. If you get him as.your bartender you're lucky!! Raul was who helped us at the pool side was great, everyone was professional and attentive.
This is the 4th time staying at the OH and it never disappoints. Filemon and his boss Erick ensure that your every satisfaction is met. I will be returning soon. They, especially Fineman works his tail off to ensure your satisfied.
Really good hotel, great pool area. Price is very good for what rooms are. I stayed with some friends for 6 days and we honestly had a great time. One little thing, they charged my friend's credit card twice, and when they reimbursed they were short over $50. They seem to have a problem with their atms/payment system because at the bar we also had issues with ALL our cards so just watch out for a double charge.
This hotel was a bad experience. I've stayed at 2 other "budget class" hotels in the area so can compare the level of quality / service at this price point. This hotel markets to people looking for a budget location in Cancun away from the more expensive beach areas. The hotel is marketed as both "Oh!" and "Smart". It's the same place, just two different names. You can walk to a large mall and many restaurants / bars easily from the hotel which was a big plus I hoped. Pro's: The pool is nice, comfortable, and the pool bar service is helpful and friendly. Clean and sanitary. Lots of free bottled water (4 liters) in room. Parking was secure and plentiful and free. Excellent and stable internet 75 mbps+ Con's: Many. : 1.) Much like a prison, security here decides when / if you can leave. There is no self-checkout option. Without your "release ticket" from the front desk, security will prevent you from leaving the building. After you make it out of the building, the parking security enforces the same requirement to present an "escape ticket" to leave the premises with your car. 2.) Front desk service extremely slow and understaffed. Front desk could not find my reservation made directly with Oasis - (not Expedia, etc) without emailing my reservation confirmation to the front desk. 3.) Security won't let you bring a friend in without registering identification at the front desk. This means waiting in line.... again.... with as few as one front-desk staff attempting the slow check-ins (see above). 4.) Breakfast quality was about a 4 out of 10 at best. Way worse quality than similar Cancun area hotels and I ate almost none of it except coffee. The coffee was good. 5.) Room quality: Dilapidated. Much outdated items, worn-out / broken items - especially lamps -- very poor lighting. My room 108 had no real window or balcony and looked out to ventilation vents / fans for the restaurant if you dared open the window. Truly an awful room 108, felt punitive. My recommendations to this hotel are: 1.) Improve front desk service / staffing and create reasonable processes / communicate reasonable processes for entry and exit. This isn't a prison or jail, yet you treat guests as if it is. 2.) Closely review room furnishings and replace broken and severely outdated items. Stayed here cor 10 days great hotel perfect location in downtown staff where great Daniel in the dining room and poolside was very helpfull also the security on the front door where great will definitely come back and recomend to anyone

Absolutely fantastic service from Filemon, Erick, Sergio, Javier and the rest of the staff. Fantastic drinks , fantastic food, very clean , and excellent facilities. Definitely the best hotel I've been to in Cancun.
Aketzali Lugo, Filemón and other team members were very helpful during our time in the cafeteria. They warmly greeted us and ensured that our needs in the cafeteria were taken care of. Aketzali demonstrated excellent leadership qualities when she carried out her duties. She liaised well with her team when the caferira became packed and helped to maintain a chaos free and safe environment (maintaining standard COVOID- protocols).
