This location is absolutely perfect for first-time visitors to Cancun. We were only a bus ride or short walk away from everything we needed, not to mention we were staying ON the beach! The apartment we stayed in was extremely nice and provided everything we needed. With plenty of room, it really felt like a home away from home. The...

Wilbert the security guard and Maggie the apartment manager were very nice. Very close to the beach and pool BUT See pics. Apt 217 was very dirty and in disrepair. NOT recommended. Kitchen full of tiny ants and dirty so we decided not to buy food to cook. Stained couches, dirty walls, broken blinds, exposed wiring. Foreclosure notice on the...

If you are looking for a condo that is on the beach and don't want to break the bank, then this is the place. I have stayed here many times through either Alvin/Fernando or Frank John. The complex is a little run down. Most of the people are friendly. Some of the security people are biased to non-spanish speaking guests....

We recently stayed at unit 432 the guests of FrankyJohn. We were looking for a place to stay for our 30th anniversary where we could bring our 19 yo son. The layout of unit 432 fit us perfectly. The downstairs contained a full bathroom (shower only). The downstairs master bedroom has 2 queen/full size beds along with a sink and...

If you don't have time to read the entire comment, the gist is: go somewhere else. If you want to know the whole story, read on. We booked 508 several months in advance because the pictures made it seem like a great apartment. A few months later, the TripAdvisor contact, Jenna J, told us that she had problems with the...

Very good value, especially the location. You are right on the beach and across the street is a big shopping mall with a grocery store. Alejandra, the manager, was very helpful. It is not 5 star but for the price you have everything you need including clean sheets and beds. We were 5 people comfortably. I will stay again!

It depends on the owner, as the condos are individually owned. Caveat emptor! Nice to have Selecto across the street, really close to the bus stop. Buses take you everywhere fast! Our owner misrepresented the unit, with false pictures and we had to throw a fit to get the AC fixed, etc. Old, beat up cookware, etc. The complex itself...

Three adults rented a 2 bedroom penthouse. Was advertised as a updated, luxurious penthouse. Was sufficient, as it was clean, great location and served our purpose. However, the unit was not as advertised. Upon arrival, we had 3 bath towels, 3 beach towels, one hand towel for each bathroom. For a full week. We requested additional towels from managements. They...

Based on the numerous 5 star reviews, the photos, and the listed amenities on the various web sites, we booked “The Penthouse Gem #705” via Trip Advisor/Home Away. The reviews lead us to believe that this was an upscale accommodation, properly furnished, and in working order. The reverse was true. The condominium complex is old and in need of major...
