🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 ⚠️BEWARE⚠️ ..The hotel itself is falling apart. Dirty and has weird smells. Very small rooms. The maid service use the same tiny elevators as the guests and the elevators are very dirty. There are rusty dusty vents in the hallways and It is definitely not worth its price tag. 🚨the actual hotel is really nothing to write home about and definitely not recommendable fursure. When planning this family vacation (booked months in advanced) the promised and sent pictures of luxury rooms and when we got their and checked in COMPLETELY something else..the amount of pressure to purchase their VIP membership was insane.. I would definitively not go back. I regret staying.. if you are looking for honesty on pricing and clean nice stay this this definitely!!!! NOT !!!!! The place to stay. 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴…
My wife and I stayed a week beginning on the 6th at Hard Rock Cancun. This was our 3rd visit and 1st in January. We had a most wonderful stay. The weather cooperated as we had excellent temperatures and plenty of sun. What really made our stay special were the employees. We had 2 outstanding butlers in Jessica and Hector. From the day we arrived Jessica was there making sure everything was right for us. She set up our dinner reservations for the week and chose wisely. When Jessica's shift was over Hector made sure everything went smoothly and always asked what they could do for us. The beach was our favorite spot and Jessica set us up with a cabana every day. Once there Jesus "Cartel" and the his buddy also named Jesus "Romeo Blanco" made sure to we were never dry, drinks wise. Those two spoiled us with their outstanding service. The resort still has a positive vibe about it that puts a smile on your face and is kept there with the delicious food and drinks provided. The brisket sandwich is soo good as is the burgers and pizzas from the snack bar. Speaking of snack bar the one on the 3rd floor, Rock Royalty terrace, has a very special lady Isabel who works there. Several times She took time to take our orders and let us know she'd be there for any thing we needed, even from our walk out patio on the same floor. All these people is what makes the Hard Rock Cancun special. We'll most likely return next January. The restaurants were very good with excellent service. Ciao, Ipanema and Zen were our favorites. We ate breakfast at Zen the last morning there and Carlos and Gray made our last meal there special with their kind attention to us. We did attend one of the evening shows Studio 54 and what a great show the entertainers provided. The resort is nice and well maintained. One thing management needs to do is make sure the ATM machine works. The last 4 days there it was out of order so we had to go a mile down the street to get cash for tips. We ran low after 3 days as the workers work their buts off to make sure everyone has a pleasant time.…
Love everything about resort Food was good Treated very well Especially Cioa restaurant, yuri and Trinidad Were great Our butler Mr G, Carlos ,Nazi, were so great We also got a room upgrade We will visit again
Everything at The Hard Rock Cancun went above and beyond my expectations. From the staff to the amenities, the overall experience was wonderful. I stayed for a full week and by the end of the trip it was hard to leave. Each individual restaurant within the resort is full of a variety of delicious foods, as well as outstanding staff! Around the pool and at each bar, the staff is also outstanding. For the first time at an all-inclusive resort, there was not one staff member that was not willing to help with any task as well as always there to greet you with a smile! Although each staff member performed outstanding work and showed their service-minded hearts, there were a few specific staff members that stood out to me personally. First, the personal assistance of Jessy and Alexis was phenomenal. Each day, they were consistently checking in and ensuring my partner and I were having the best time possible. Aside from ensuring we had dinner plans and spa reservations, they constantly sent gifts to our room such as chocolate strawberries, champagne, and other liquor beverages, and even decorated the room in rose petals one day! The next outstanding staff member was Ivan from the Smash Bar. He provided reliable and fast service and was willing to help with any needs we had. The second my boyfriend and I stepped NEAR the Smash Bar he was there offering us our favorite go-to drinks with a smile on his face! Tony from the concierge desk was the next memorable staff member. He constantly provided fast service, as well as helped book a reservation and transportation for dinner at Harry's Steak House, which is just across the street from the resort. Sammi from Miami who works in luggage is the final outstanding staff member from my trip!! He has been around the resort for a long time and is very personable. He remembers his guests and provides such a nice environment. …
We are members. We traveled as a family of 6. We had visited twice before when it was Cancun Palace. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Rock Suite which had a beautiful view. We cannot say enough about the staff at all levels. We got wonderful service. What bothered us since it has become a Hard Rock is that we noticed that the place and furniture seem dated and tired. We could not find a comfortable place to sit in the lobby bar or in our room. The furniture in the lobby is quite large and not very comfortable. Of course, we expected spring breakers and for the most part, besides being loud, they behaved ok. There was a lot of noise on the pool side which we expected. By 11:30 pm, I was glad it finally quit. The shows every night were wonderful. Sadly, we saw some sargassum seaweed clumps on the beaches when we were there. They removed it everyday but it came back with the tide. Food was average and we ate in each restaurant. Member update pressure always. I sat for the meeting till I could stand no more and just left when my 90 minutes was up. Shout out to the girls in the spa that did our mani/pedis. Shout out especially to Jessy and Alexis, our concierges, for being there everyday for us and for straightening out our bill at the end. We probably will not go back to this hotel till some remodeling updates are done.…
Clean, excellent food and drinks. The shows is amazing, great team and care with the people inside the hotel. All guest member are polite, and do their best to help you anytime. The room is very clean and comfortable.
Just got back from a week family vacation and it was amazing. The entire staff was fantastic. The pool bar is unreal, great atmosphere with a mix of classic rock to modern hits. Every day had fun activities with no pressure to participate. We didn’t have 1 bad meal. Zen, Toro and Ciao were all incredible. The staff were always super friendly and always available to help at any time. Location is perfect, only 25 mins from the airport and located right on the beach ( which is amazing ). Only reason why I didn’t give a 5/5 is due to the limited room beverage choices. Other than that it was fantastic. Would go back tomorrow if we could, highly recommend to others
This hotel has a nice rock & roll vibe but very Americanized. Not a big deal though. Place is very clean and sits right on the beach and has nice beach views. There are pros and cons to this place and I will go over both. CONS: This is definitely a party hotel. And not that I don’t love having a good time. But when you got people yelling through the hallway at 3am when you’re trying to get some sleep to leave for a 7am tour the next day, it can get bothersome. The first night we stayed here we kept getting awaken but people yelling through the hallway. Then at 4am our neighbors were still up and chatting/laughing away and playing music. THE WALLS ARE THIN AND YOU HEAR EVERYTHING. Anyway, I don’t like to complain much but I really couldn’t stand not sleeping for 2 nights so I tried to bring this up to the front desk the next day to possibly switch rooms. I tried to voice my concerns to Daniel and he acted as if he didn’t care. He rolled his eyes when I told him that we really couldn’t get any sleep, it was very rude. When you pay the kind of money you do for this hotel, you expect at least a good nights sleep and a nice staff!!! Anyway moving on… These people from the Legendary team will hound you to speak with them regarding their offers for new rooms in another new hotel they are building that’s apparently “not a timeshare (but it sounds just like it)”. They will try to get you right after check in and disguise it as them just showing you around and going over all the good excursions. They won’t leave you alone until you commit to a breakfast presentation. Anyway my husband let them down nicely. Just say your not interested and walk away. By the way they also tried to sell us something when we checked out too. *sigh* - the mini bar in your room is very unimpressive. 6 cans of different kinds of soda and 2 cans of corona beer. - it is HARD to get a lounge chair. You have to wake up at 7am. And even then all the front ones are taken. People get rowdy here but if this is your scene, this place is for you. PROS: We did have a few people that made our stay here better!! The bartender Gonzalo in the main hotel bar took care of us every night and even memorized what drinks we liked! Raul & Roy at the Tempanyaki place and Blade at the Asian restaurant. Also Carlos that took care of us at Frida (the buffet) was so nice and attentive! - location is amazing! Beautiful beach just steps away - pool is HUGE, lots of space for everyone. - hotel is a little dated but clean - there’s always staff somewhere willing to help - gym is clean, there’s a tennis and basketball court - Michael Jackson show was entertaining Food was hit or miss. Some good , some so so. Just depends on what you like.…
To be fair, I will share my review as Pros and Cons : PROS: Gorgeous white sand beach, lounges have beach mattresses, staff always available to bring an umbrella. Waiters and waitresses always coming by to check if you want drinks or food. For the most part, most staff are pretty friendly. Shows nightly, Michael Jackson show was pretty good, live band show was excellent. Buffet food usually had a few good choices. TORO steak house was pretty fair. Although the meat was a bit chewy, it did have good flavor. Isla restaurant food (seafood) usually pretty good, fresh. Our oceanfront room on 12th floor had a great view. If you like noisy boisterous drunk people that should never pick up a microphone at Karaoke, this is perfect for you. They do have a lot of activities (usually centered and focused around drinking). CONS: From the moment we got there, the Legendary staff (the people that try to sell you their timeshare), don't leave you alone. They bug the living crap out of you constantly to let them try to talk you into becoming a member and view their presentation and won't take no for an answer. They are very pushy, which is the last thing I want to encounter when I come to Mexico to relax and get away from the stress of my daily life. I finally had to complain to the hotel that if one more person bothered me, they were going to get an earful of unpleasant explicatives. Food on the whole was very mediocre. The ZEN restaurant (Asian food) was loaded with MSG and Panda seemed like a gourmet restaurant compared to them. WE only ate there once, which was enough. Itailian food...meh! Boring food and also served luke warm. We only ate there once as well. Bathroom placement throughout the hotel was very poor. No bathroom connected to the main buffet, or anywhere near there. No exhaust fans in bathroons in guest suites. NO SUSHI! We are huge sushi fans and I was surprised to find that they had none! WOW. Many of the nightly shows were 3rd rate entertainment. Most of the male dancers were pretty bad, compared to the female talent. They need to re-vamp their shows. There was no "Mexican Night" where they would cook street food around the pool one night during the week. Every resort we have been to in Mexico, always does this, so we were surprised. Needless to say, we will NEVER stay at another Hard Rock property, as the CONs list FAR FAR outweighs the PROs. I will say that my wife and I are very picky eaters, and one of thekey things we look for in an all-inclusive resort, is GREAT FOOD. We have been fortunate on may occasions to find this at other resorts. But if you are looking for high quality and taste food...look elsewhere.…
Loved everything about it! The room was comfortable and spacious; lights and plug outlets everywhere, you can control the AC yourself, beds are super comfy, and the rooms my friends & I got, all had a huge jacuzzi! The food was excellent! Everything I tried was delicious. But the most important thing to me (besides the food) was the outstanding customer service they have. Everyone made me feel welcome and special! The staff is so nice and respectful. I want to highlight Isla Canto's service which was beyond excellent. Not only did she helped me with a check-in issue I had, but she also checked in with me every day making sure I was satisfied with everything, and she also went above and beyond sending me chocolate covered strawberries with sparkling wine to make up for the check-in hiccup that was not even her fault! She def rocks!!! N for that reason I will def go back to this hotel and most importantly, I would def recommend it to all my friends n fam. …
