I normally stay at the Westin hotels in US and always good. With Cancun hotel one was totally different and horrible.. from checking in to finish. It took the guy 37 mins to check us in for 2 rooms, looks like he was new or didn’t know what he doing. Never again to this hotel. Getting to the rooms showers had hair all over and filthy dirty. We tried to use the paper cup and it had long curly in it.. very very disappointing. The stuff was awful. The view was good and beautiful. This hotel was not a good start of our vacation. We move to Riviera Maya resort it was a complete turn around the amazing service and clean rooms ever..they made our vacation pleasant. Final word never never again with Westin.... i will rate them (-10) and zero stars...

We added a day to the beginning of our trip and chose to stay at this resort at the Club level for one night as we are Platinum Elite Marriott members and this was a great price for club level. We arrived around 12:00 and our room wasn't ready but they upgraded us to an ocean view room that was ready! Our view was amazing! The resort is nice, definitely not the nicest Marriott we have been to. However, the location is fantastic, the staff was very nice and you can get great deals for the club level, which includes breakfast and a happy hour with snacks.

We spent a lovely family vacation at the Westin Resort and Spa Cancun. The beaches and pools were fantastic. The views could not be beat! The drinks and food were excellent. I have never seen better service! We’d like to give a special shout out to: Alejandro (poolside activities), Lalo ((poolside activities), Antonio (drink and food service at pool and beach), Fernando (bartender), Rodrigo (check in), and Angel (bell hop). We had to cancel our trip to this property. Be careful as this property is NOT necessarily part of the Marriott family., Marriott prices are also not the lowest and we received a better rate through expedia. The situation we have now is a bunch of fingerpointing. Marriott does not want to own it. Neither does Expedia. The Hotel itself is playing games.
