Jose Tep from the Lobby Bar was EXCELLENT! He was very nice, helpful, attentive and extremely professional. Everytime we went to the bar he would greet us with very friendly energy. He remembered our drinks from rhe previous day and made sure he kept checking on us to assure our flass was filled.

Hotel's Favorite
This was our 4th trip to Moon Palace. We like coming here with so many options for restaurants and activities. One of our favorite activities this time was releasing baby sea turtles, an amazing experience available this time of year. We had a different delicious cuisine every night and love the breakfast buffet so everyone can get what they want in the morning. The spa services are always relaxing and comfortable. My kids, age 8 and 5, love the water park area. Sandy was amazing making reservations for an excursion to Tulum and Rio Secreto, getting us to Beach Palace for a day (which does have a much better beach than Moon Palace), and for restaurants. She also planned a great birthday surprise for our daughter. Valentin was an awesome pool server in the water park area and will be a great concierge. Juan Carlos is already a wonderful concierge in the water park area. Alejandro in La Cantina provided great recommendations and amazing service. Our only complaint is to get bigger beds in the family rooms because there is definitely enough room to fit them and it would be much more comfortable sleeping.

Pool Concierge for Diamond members at the pool-far end by Cusco (sorry, can’t remember his name, maybe Enriquez?) Anyways, he was great along with the swim up bar personnel. My brother was a little loud, and the staff stayed accommodating, patient and friendly. Kudos to the staff. Our personal concierge want great, the the rest of staff made up for what he lacked.

Juan at Caribeno Restaurant was amazing everyday! He knew our family and was prepared each morning! Great staff like him will keep us coming back over and over! The food was fresh each day, and it was very organized. Each restaurant on property was great!

I LOVE Moon Palace. We LOVE the Grand section. I have been there 6 times and recommended it many times BUT BEWARE: They have contracted to have PHISH perform during February Vacation. We had three sleepless nights in a row because of the drugged out crowd Phish attracts. The Resort promised me they would not book Phish again during school vacation but they have. This crowd is not appropriate for a family vacation so please go to Moon Palace, please enjoy yourself, but you will not have a good family vacation during this time.

Terrible understaffing at restaurants! They have cut down the A/C in restaurants, and major lobbies and A/C turns off in the rooms during the day! Couldn't get the A/C fixed and finally got moved at 5am to new room. They are understaffed very slow in most restaurants. Totally going down hill! The workers work hard but the resort have changed menus in restaurants to cut back and save money on food costs. Been at the Grand 8 times and this year has been the worst! Kind of screwed now that I purchased a membership! They moved us the night we got there because the A/C couldn't get our room under 79°F! Maintenance in our room until 5am! No hot water either! Moved us to a dirty room with open condom wrappers in the bathroom garbage can. That was the highlight of our trip! We got a $200.00 resort credit for our inconvenience of staying up all night! I should have told them to stick it! The day manager Epper should lose his job! Such poor customer service and doesn't care! They have gotten too big for their britches! You will care when the New HardRock is built next door in Cancun! It's coming! Maybe you can learn something in customer service from them!

I recently celebrated a special occasion Lester and Patricia provided the chef dinner delicious Ever and Luis butlers very pleasant and efficient , you won’t be disappointed Jaime Momo excellent service Once in a while you encounter an unprofessional and condescending employee that is Lilian Perez the diamond. Concierge staff . Ms Lillian upon checking out verbalized “ I used my card too much that’s why it’s declined “ In fact Ms Lilian was not trained and knowledgeable in the diamond checkout process because she kept using the wrong system and failed to acknowledge her incompetence.. Mr Eduardo front desk employee informed Ms Perez my card was not the problem only her display of unprofessionalism Ms Perez offered no apologies . Regardless of that tainted checkout Diamond experience I met wonderful spa , drivers and housekeeping personnel They show up with pride Thank you

Antonio UC The waiter is the absolute best thing in my vacation. Absolutely the best service. I thoroughly appreciate the service from moon palace. My family and I really had a great time. The water park and restaurants were definitely on point.

Family of 4, kids aged 13 & 11, had an amazing time. Breakfast - ate in both Grand Buffet & Cusco, preferred Cusco as it was less busy but loved Marco at the Grand Buffet - his attention to detail was fabulous! Lunch - ate at whatever pool we were at - pizza at the Caribeno was the fav! Cusco was the favourite pool - Monica took excellent care of all of us. Water park - lazy river was the favourite - slides weren’t busy, but there seemed to be a shortage of beds - we went early any day we went and were fine. Dinner, had no problem booking restaurants, had the best food at Casa Mia, found the steak better here than at JC Steakhouse. Circus - amazing experience but food was inedible, entertainment & decor amazing. JC steakhouse - over rated - go to casa mia and have a steak! Jade - what we wanted from the menu wasn’t available - but food was good. Tavola - good food, service was just ok, the place was very busy and staff were run off their feet. Momo at Sunrise fabulous ! Cusco - fabulous! Boulongerie - the Mojito chocs were to die for, kids loved macarons and crepes Room service - had a number of things from this the wait was about 30mins and food was good ! In general the place was very clean, golf carts were great, not a massive wait, pools were good, sometimes there was a bit of a wait for towels but no complaints. Gave a hard no the sales man at the beginning and never heard from them again. Resort credits - couldn’t be spent ! My tip would be to use them on laundry - we did the Dolphin Experience as part of the package - it was ok. Only negative was some guests being rude to the staff - no need - the staff here are fabulous
