We had an unambiguously good time. The service is amazing and the views are spectacular. Our room was awesome and by-and-large we had no complaints. You are unlikely to go wrong at the Villa del Palmar. It's 20-40 minutes from the airport way down a long beach road. It's about 200yds from the ferry to the nearby island and you...

This is our second time staying at Villa Del Mar and we absolutely love it! We came with some friends and wished we could have stayed longer. I never thought I would become an old timer, but I guess when you get north of 50, that is what you are. We bought in as members when the resort was only partially completed about 6-7 years ago. Great family hotel. Food, staff, room, alcohol all excellent. Davinos was the best place to eat, Caprichos great as well. Do not get sucked into the sales pitch to attend a timeshare presentation! Sushi was the best restaurant! Steak house was OK but great service and wonderful rooms with hammock on the patios very relaxing. Also great walking access to the ferry. We avoided the time share and were not hassled about it, very nice touch.

First to let everyone know that were are owners with the UVC Club, owners of the Villa de Palmar Cancun. We have been to the Cabo and Puerto Vallarta resorts and look forward to going to their other resorts. If you are looking for lots of action, with nearby clubs and restaurants, then you need to stay in the Hotel...

I came here for a weekend, the resort was beautiful, room was so big, it could fit up to 6 people and there was only 2 of us. Our standard room came up with a kitchen, dining table, dish washer, etc (although you really wouldn't need to buy groceries while you're there) there was also 2 bathrooms with 2 showers....

This is a newer resort and our one-bedroom suite was very large with a whirlpool bath, double sinks, big closet, and shower. A second bathroom with shower was in the main living area, that had a queen murphy bed, large glass dining table, full ktichen, and a washer/dryer! The resort is new and beautiful. The rooms are amazing and well kept. The dinning had great food, super slow service but friendly staff. Pools are amazing and clean.
