A grand stay awaits those who step into the Gran Diligencias. The lobby speaks elegance from days gone by. Check in was quick and our room overlooking the Zocalo perfect. After spending 2 weeks in the "provinces" we were ready for a little lux. The staff works hard for their guests and we had minimum problems communicating, even though our...

Even though we started off with a bit of an inconvenience with the pick up from the airport, but I must say that the staff went on and beyond to make it right! The hotel is beautiful and it's in a perfection location! We were fortunate enough to see a carnaval parade from the hotel...we felt privileged to have a...

The lobby and mezzanine are beautifully decorated and the hotel has been upgraded with smart lights, key cards, etc. room was spacious and the beds are the typical hard mattresses we usually find in Mexico. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was a large buffet with wide selection

We spent 6 nights at the Gran Hotel Diligencias in late November 2016. First, Veracruz is not a popular tourist town, although in my case, that was one reason for visiting. But, that means few people speak English, though those that do are very helpful. So, the patrons of this hotel were almost all Mexican, though we definitely saw/heard some...

This hotel is right on the main square in a perfect location. Our room was a king size bed room and it was quite large and facing in a direction that was very quiet. Everything worked well, my only complaint would be that the bed was a little on the hard side.

We started our tour of the State of Veracruz in the city of Veracruz. We stayed at the Diligencia which is right on the Plaza. There was music and dancing free every night. There is much to do in this port city and because of the strength of the dollar, it is a huge bargain. The Diligencia is a wonderful...

Located right across the street from the city's central plaza it offers short walks to everything you want to see in Veracruz. The rooms are spotless and large. The patio area out front is a perfect place to kick back with a drink and people watch. Service is great and they have a smoking section where you can enjoy a...

We came back to stay in this hotel it is central and very comfortable. Close to the Zocalo and harbour in walking distance. The rooms are clean and big this time we were on the other side of the building. After a warm day and work we had a nice swim in the roof swimming pool. This time we used...

Great hotel. Excellent location. Just like the gran hotel de la ciudad de mexico! This hotel is in front of the zocalo in Veracruz. The price is great for the quality of the hotel and it's amenities. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great hotel for a very reasonable price.
