Beautiful place at an estuary run by a family with excellent food and activities- kayaking to mangrove, swimming, hiking, yoga classes. The family is committed to the reforestation of the local forest, so it is not just a hotel, but a project in sustainable development.

The first time, we went for a night and stayed a week! It is that kind of place. Valentina and family are incredibly hospitable and make you feel so welcome. The setting...

I was so well taken care of when I stayed here! The birds were so peaceful and the lagoon environment was so tranquil and picturesque. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners' family and a few of their friends who were staying at the resort as return customers. One day we hired a boat to do a bit...

I can't thank Valerie and her family enough for making my stay here an absolute pleasure. The cabins are charming, the location ideal, and the food wonderful. It's a genuine ranch with eco-credentials and you get the feeling that the environment and the happiness of their guests are more important than monetary profit. Take the tour and be amazed at...

During the week you might have the whole site just for yourself as tourists often arrive...

Sontecomapan is pretty close to being paradise, and are our stay in Rancho Los Amigos allowed us to enjoy it for longer. The vegetation in this property is lush and there are great views of the mangrove lagoon from different places. If you're into birdwatching, there are tons of different birds here in the early mornings and late afternoons! Also,...
