This is as lovely hotel, reasonably priced with an artistic flair in decoration. We recommend room 3 Los Libros - a corner spot on the main level where breakfast is served. Nice table and chairs outside our room for our use. Gorgeous view over Taxco. Breakfast is continental - just coffee/tea and croissants/jam. The only drawback for us are the many, many stairs up to the hotel (incredible views) and the many, many stairs down to where the action is for restaurants, shopping and Museo Spratling. My husband has trouble negotiating stairs at the best of times so it was wearing on our energy. If you are fit, there is no problem at all. The folks who work there were unfailingly polite and sweet. We enjoyed our stay very much. Taxis are super cheap, by the way - 25 pesos anywhere in town. So once we got down all the stairs in the hotel and on the winding streets, we were away to the races. No English TV stations.Wifi was fine in the hallways but not good in our particular room.…
We fell in love with Hotel Mi Casita from the moment we walked through the gate (ring the bell, and pull it towards you when you hear the buzz, and then push it forward to open). The hotel staff made us feel welcome from the get-go, everybody is warm and friendly. The room was immaculate and very comfortable and the hotel has great views all the way around. Special thanks to Adolfo, who was always waiting with our key in hand everytime we returned and was always greeting us with a smile. Five Stars and 2 Thumbs up.
I found it excessively expensive for what it offered. Because of Holy Week, the room rate went up close to 50%. The bed had a curtain behind; my husband told me later it was full of spider webs. The hotel did have a great location and pleasant staff.
great location, amazing view, staff polite and helpful. Hotel provides parking in nearby plaza for affordable cost. Our room was clean and spacious. Stay includes continental breakfast that was served to us on balcony. All the served food was fresh and tasty.overall impression was positive and we would definitely consider this place again.
Location of this nice little Boutique hotel was great - near zocalo. Room size was large enough, however bit dated. Breakfast is limited and simple - bread, butter, jam and coffee. Water is complimentary and wifi is free. Staff is nice and cordial. Something was lacking at this place for me to come back again. Of course I will come back if nothing else is available !
