This place is cheap and simple. But it's clean, and the staff is friendly. The included breakfast is perfectly fine and makes this place a real bargain. You can even get refills for your coffee. It's located 7 minutes away from the city center and just 1 block from the main street which has lots of restaurants, bars and shops...

Good points - breakfast included - nice service (but the owner -lady- bit weird) - Good location Bad - noisy, very very noisy. It's next to the busy road, actually on the corner of two busy roads. You hear and feel everything. When the cars passing windows (very thin) starts shaking. Very annoying. Sleepless nights - bathroom in the room...

We stayed here only one night even though we payed for two. The room was very basic. Had a bed and a steel door. There was hair all over the shower. The breakfast is ok, where you can chose one menu between 3 menus.

+ breakfast included, we could choose between 4 choices + friendliness of staff + value for money + tours to Chamulan and transfer to Guatemala cheaper than in the agencies. Good quality + not too far from the city center, but far enough to have it quiet at night o not so easy to find o wifi everywhere available, but...

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating with our situation. They aided us with tours and taxis no matter what time of day. The small services such as number of towels and functioning wifi was a little sub-par, but the great breakfasts and wonderful service was made for a great stay. The location of the hotel is excellent! We...

Very friendly owner that helped us with both tours and tickets. They have a travel agency for ADO-tickets, breakfast's included in the very reasonable price. We were even given a small breakfast to bring when we left with a bus early in the morning. Only minus is that it's cold and no heating. Our room had windows only to the...

We stayed there for a few days during winter. The patio is beautiful and indeed the view on the rooftop is great. Breakfast is good and the owners are lovely and very helpful, they can help planning your stay. The rooms have everything you need and are lovely. We got there when they had a cold wave so it got...

Walked in and lucked out finding a inexpensive room Christmas week. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, and the entire staff was exceptionally friendly. The basic breakfast had four options, and considering it was included in the price, was sufficient and on par with most hostel breakfasts. Hot water always worked, ADO tickets can be purchased, and luggage storage...

Budget hotels are difficult to really give too much hate to. For prices this cheap so near to the center of SCdlC, I would have expected a lot worse. But it is spartan, reasonably clean... if rather musty smelling and humid; I left after two days and my backpack and possessions were mysteriously damp. The good- people are certainly friendly...

Enjoyed our stay. The owners were frieny and helpful with good English and French. The room was basic but clean and fresh towels were provided every day. Breakfast was included and very nice. The shower was hot but small and difficult to get right. Good value for money as it was a little way out of the town, about 10...

“I had room number 1 which has a capacity of 3 (one double and one single bed). I think that three of the rooms have en-suites in their rooms and the other three sole use of a shower/toilet but it is next door to the room. As I said I think the accommodation across the road has shred facilities.”

“At least avoid staying in El gite 2. Maybe staying in the main building is better and doesn't give you the 'prison feel expierence' I had. It's probably best to avoid the place at all as there are better options nearer to the city center.”
