We were 4 and the room on the first floor was clean, enormous and quiet. The internal courtyard is very characteristic. Great location for the walking streets and central square (5 minutes to the stairs of El Cerro and 15 from the cathedral).

While the staff are absolutely useless, the hotel itself isn't too unpleasant. I found it to be quite cheerful. The location is neither good nor bad. However, considering the cost, I would say it is overpriced.

Incredibly noisy (courtyard creates an echo - all rooms surround the courtyard), and incredibly uncomfortable beds and pillows. For the price or a few pesos more, you can do better. Staff was incredibly friendly though.
