This is a great place to stay in San Cristobal de las Casas....perfect location, beautiful gardens, quiet clean well decorated rooms, great breakfast, and do not miss the massage. We were so pleased to stay here on our first trip to Chiapas. We will return to Bels's again some day and will recommend it to others.

When my mom and I arrived in san cristobal, we weren´t sure how long we were going to stay. We ended up staying for almost a week. Bela welcomed us into her home and gave us so much information on where to go and what to see. We had a great time. Thanks, Bela. I hope to be back soon.... More

A friend and I stayed at Bela's for a week. The B&B itself is lovely, with rooms and a dining area surrounding a garden. It's very quiet but only a minute's walk from the center of things. But the real appeal of Bela's is Bela herself. She is an endless source of information about the area. She'll tell you things... More

I am staying at Bela's now, and it's great! My wife and I are studying Spanish and visiting nearby pueblos, and Bela's is such a welcoming, comfortable place to return to after long days. We have stayed in the upper two rooms. Both have nice advantages --- one is a suite with king bed and sitting area, the other has... More

A gracious owner/host, and fabulous staff makes this small B&B a traveler's delight. The weather was warm enough that the electric blanket was not needed, but it was there. Breakfasts of homemade granola, wonderful fresh fruit, bacon & eggs, French toast, and fresh squeezed juice was the start of each day. With a day's notice, a simple, but fabulous lunch... More

My wife and I stayed at Bela's for 8 days in February. It was our first visit to San Cristobal. Bela's offers the amenities of a 5 star hotel within a country setting. Heated towel bar, bathrobes, flowers, fresh water and truffles daily, personal care products and more. The most memorable aspect of our visit is that staying with Bela,... More

My husband, adult daughter and I stayed at Bela's for 5 days in Dec. 2008 and loved the accomodations, friendliness, helpfulness, service, breakfasts and garden. We just returned from a 5 week stay in San Cristobal in a rented apartment near Bela's. (If Bela had a long term rental & we would have stayed with her). We had several contacts... More

In December I was travelling through Mexico. One of the stop was Bela's B&B in San Cristobal. This was the most charming and lovely B&B on our trip. You feel very welcome and you have everything you need. If you could choose a room I would take the one with a balcony. The view was magnificicient. Very close to the... More

We loved this beautiful B&B near the center of town. The rooms are absolutely lovely with attention to every detail. The garden in the center is well tended with beautiful plants, trees and flowers making the inn an ideal place to stay. We enjoyed the breakfasts and could bring our own food in for cena (supper) using the dining area.... More
