Very confortable room, nice bathroom with Loccitaine creams. Frindly staff. Theres a restaurant conected for breakfast, in very high quality, localization in perfect, one block from historical center. The room is very quiet and black.
Very cozy hotel that is centrally located to downtown and transportation terminals. Staff is welcoming and helpful, breakfast is very good and the rooms are superb! Never had such a quiet and tranquil room is the middle of downtown. Pricing is very fair for what you get.
Good location and very friendly staff which helped arrangements with very good local drivers/guides. The restaurant deserves an excellent rating. We also had the breakfast package and well worth it. Hotel may deserve a better rating but our suite on the third floor (nice view) has a sliding door to the patio with a 1/4" bottom gap that maintenance could not fix....front desk told us that they could not do much about it. The furniture looked stained and the bed mattress, sheets and bath towels were "tired". Bathroom sink was modern but not practical and shower fixture in the bathroom needs some work. The overall place is attractive and common areas are aesthetically pleasing and well maintained
I have to say everything about our stay here was perfect from the lovely big bed to the beautiful dessert in the restaurant. The decor in the hotel is lovely and a big shout out to Carlos from the restaurant couldn't have been nicer and helpful (thanks for the posh bro)would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to San cristobal.
We had a suite, really nice with amazing views . The service is excellent. The restaurant is a must place to eat. Also y has really good location , walking distance to all downtown , but super quite in the rooms. Nice tv
Centrally located, walking distance to many interesting places. Helpful staff, EXCELLENT restaurant (El Secreto). Comfortable room, complex architecture mirroring the San Cristobal cathedral, local art in lobby, gym, spa, laundry service, etc.
My husband and I spent 4 days at the hotel and loved it. It is centrally located, great staff, big bedrooms and bathrooms and very quiet. The staff, reception and restaurant were courteous and polite and the food in the restaurant was wonderful. We would stay there again and are recommending the hotel to our friends. A beautiful place.
Very comfortable and easily located hotel, it is literally in the center of the city, you do not need a taxi, just walk and have restaurants, shops and other services, the hotel has a beautiful architecture and a very traditional decoration. How disappointing it was that the workers did not speak english, I spoke on the phone with a woman who spoke english fluently, but when I arrived at the hotel, nobody knows about her and I made all my visiting plans with her and the other workers they did not understand my requests, it is a high category of hotel, there can't be a single person who speaks english, my wife fell in love with the indigenous communities, thanks for the holidays in Mexico but on my next visit will look for a hotel with bilingual workers because was hard -we are older couple-…
Nobody speak english, the comunication with the staff was deficient, impossible buy tours, request something or actually give a suggestions because they dont speak english and actually i dont know if them will understand this message, unfortunatlly nice hotel but really bad service. THE FOOD WAS GREAT!
Really good hotel in excelkent location near to all the attractions, pedestrian streets with restaurants etcs. The hotel and the room is clean. Breakfast quite good. But most staffs doesnot communicate in English well enough. Also room assigned seemed to be not exactly as the room typed booked (via Agoda). We booked a “Suite” with king bed, but first we got a big room with 2 double beds, then after requesting change, we got what looked more like a “deluxe” or “superior” room with king size bed and a small terrace, but didnot looked like a “Suite” at all. We had not complained or try to argue further to avoid losing more time miscommunicating. All in all we had an amazing time in San Cristobal de las Casas though.
