Location is great!!! Across from main plaza, walking distance through town! Markets, restaurants, museums, store, banks, churches. Rooms are small, no drawers, just a mini closet to hang. Most Rooms are inside with view to a center hallway. Good because of the noise outside, but not much privacy. Service by all employees was excellent!!! Will go back!!!
Very nice, quaint historic hotel situated in downtown San Cristobal. Within walking distance of just about anything. Excellent restaurant. Wonderful staff. Would visit again! Very clean facilities- internet/ amenities
Centralice, clean hotel, the breakfast is good and plentiful. Every one is very helpful and nice. Our room had a small window into the Zocalo (wish it would have been bigger)but we did not spend to much time in the room any way. Reception was very helpful and made the arrangements for all our tours, and gave us great ideas of places in town. There is no elevator, so if you can't do stairs make sure you ask for a lower floor room. There are several restaurants right out side the hotel as well. May is start of rain season, it low season for them, it is perfect if you don't like huge crowds of people. It usually rains hard between 5 and 7 pm, the streets become rivers (no kidding) we took a city tour during one of this rains, it was a blast.
Our room was pretty small, but other than that, it is a beautiful hotel in a great area. Restaurants were literally around every corner. updated rooms and excellent service. If you want to enjoy a great stay in this beautiful Pueblo Magico...This place is recommended.
We only stayed here for 1 night, but i'm sorry we didn't say a bit longer. The hotel is right in the town square, so it is easy to walk everywhere. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely renovated in the original style. The staff were friendly and helpful. San Cristobal is a lovely Mexican town and well worth a visit.
