So nice, a bit of the way, but that is actually a nice thing if you want to relax. Beautiful pool and views, large rooms, cheap beer available at all times, good food and friendly staff. They helped with tours, did washing and were very professional and polite. If your going to Oaxaca, stay here.

Stayed here with a friend in december. Was a great hostel. The property itself was very nice, great pool and great view. The room was great, very large and clean. The owners and staff were great. Could not recommend more highly.

After a week staying in center of the city this place was perfect. Super peaceful (it was rainy season). The Julietas are very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and coupled with the pool and mountain view, just lovely. Tasty breakfast as well.

They picked us up in a pick-up truck and the adventure began! They took very good care of us. We had perfect meals. They explained a lot about Mexico and the region. And they played some good Mexican music on the speakers. We were staying in a cabin, which was so nice; this is really an "Inn." We wrote our...

After traveling from Guatemala to Oaxaca on a 28 hour bus ride I was stoked to arrive at La Villada Inn. Juliet the lady who manages the hostel was INCREDIBLE (to say the least)!!!! On our first night she took me, my friends, and another guest to the markets. She showed us around Oaxaca City and even stopped along the...

Great place to stay! Juliet and her mum are very lovely! The hostel is clean and quiet and you feel like you're part of the family there. They took me to the markets in town to buy all the chillies needed to make Mole. If you're getting hungry in the evening after the kitchen is closed there is a yummy...

“The hostel was great for our big group but the bunks don't have rails so it won't work for small kids to be on the top. One room has 4 bunks and the other has two. Your sleep quality depends if there is a loud party going on in the town below.”

“I would recommend a private room in the 'new' block. The fittings are modern and less rustic and rooms look straight out across the valley.”
