This place is wonderful. It’s north of downtown, so it’s quiet at night, easy walk to anywhere, covid testing lab 2 blocks away, safe cute trendy neighborhood. Every room has a private bath, upstairs rooms have private balconies overlooking pool. Traditional breakfast is included. They have covid supplies in room, water, toiletries, towels, plenty of blankets and pillows, fan, WiFi, room service, hot shower, lending library, so much more!

Great location, incredible location, staff are amazing. The pool isn’t heated but is nice to dip your feet in when it gets hot and there is a nice rooftop. Everything is amazing. Make sure you eat breakfast, it’s some of the best food I’ve ever had.

I booked this for 6 nights in early February for travel January 2021 so before Covid 19 was really thought about and so the hotel can't blame this on that. As it over the Xmas busy time they asked for a larger deposit than usual so I paid that and that was the last time I heard from them. I emailed a week after I paid asking to move the dates by one day and had no reply. I followed up with several emails over a month to a couple of different email addresses and could not get a response. After another week I went to Paypal to get a refund which I got as they did not respond to them either. I have NEVER dealt with such an unprofessional place and would be very wary if you were booking.

We loved our 3 night stay here. It was everything we hoped it would be. Small, intimate, very friendly and personable staff, delicious breakfasts, spacious rooms with Mexican artifacts, 10 minute walk to the Zocalo, near many great restaurants, super clean. What else could one possibly want? The photos don’t do it justice. Refill your water bottle, borrow a hat for free, place snacks and beverages in the communal refrigerator, relax in 2 open areas and enjoy the company of some very interesting guests. If you have come unprepared and not know how you would like to spend your time, staff will patiently explain all you need and wish to know so you are a happy guest. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Adored this experience.

Great place to stay. The rooms are spotless, many have their own balconies that look out over a swimming pool, and it is just a few minutes walk from all the major activities. The breakfasts were delicious; we ate them family-style, which meant that we all learned from each other. Carla, Jose and the rest of the staff were helpful, and helped us arrange tours, where Carla gave us recommendations that were perfect for us. There is a reason why most of the people at breakfast were regulars at Casa Ollin. We are likely to join them.
