it is a nice hostel, beds are comfy, hot shower, nice kitchen, nice common erea. The problems are that it is pretty far from the center(which is why it is in a good price),the shower and bathroom are not that nice. Lots of light early in the morning and the breakfast is not the best.

I loved our stay in that hostel. It was clean, safe, nice kitchen, laundry facilities and most of all atmosphere and new breakfast everyday (included in the price, even for dorms) I literately felt like home, the volunteers at the time were really friendly and helpful. We had a great time ! Ho and I forgot, the price of the...

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place! The staff (especially Erika!) are super friendly and informative, the guests are welcoming, the breakfast is great, rooms are clean, and the area is great. Pretty low key, more of a locals' neighborhood (with day market a block away) but the busy downtown is very close as well. Also very affordable, and...

Hostal Pochon is the perfect place to stay with just a 5 min stroll to the Zocalo. Breakfast is included and made fresh everyday from some great local cooks and they mix it up each day. Only the coffee, tea and fresh fruit salad stays the same. The rooms are cheap from only 125 pesos a night, they have a...

We took the largest suite that Hostal Pochon offered, which was only a bit more expensive than a double room without bath. We had a huge comfortable bed, a sitting room, and our own bathroom, even a small balcony! The breakfasts dowstairs in the courtyard were good, and the mixed back-packer clientele was wonderful to spend time with. We were...

I stayed for three nights. First, the location is good. Market is right next to the hostel and there is a mart near the hostel. It's close from downtown and is quiet at night. Second, room and bathroom are okay. Bed and sheets are clean and comfortable. Bathroom facility is old but hot shower works well. Third, common kitchen is...

For the budget traveller, Hostal Pochon is an absolute steal. This home-away-from-home offers a number of accommodation types, including a junior suite where I stayed for 25 nights in October 2015. Confirming my reservation with a credit card was simple and effortless. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Miriam who fills in for Pochon’s convivial owner/operator, Erika Velásquez Durán....

The staff are volunteers, so tend to hang out with the guests and show them around. It was very easy to meet people here as a solo traveller, but not a loud party style hostel. And oh my god the breakfast is good, usually omelettes :) spacious rooms and well priced.

This small intimately quaint hostel on a quiet residential side street in a beautiful neighborhood of Oaxaca City is straight forward with no frills. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price. It is not a party spot and tends to attract an older more mature clientele who tend to stay to themselves not much sharing...

The room was excellent. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Especially you don't speak Spanish. They would book your tickets, tell you where to catch a bus or a collective taxi. They can suggest places to visit and eat out. Breakfast was modest but better quality than at any other hostel I've ever stayed at. I don't think you...
