The Hotel Trebol is in a perfect location and is an excellent value for the price. It is located directly across the street from the famous Mercado Benito Juárez. It is also easily walking distance from the majority of the sites in Oaxaca that most tourists would want to visit. The room was spacious and comfortable. The parking is in...

Nice room, great service and value! I will definitely return to the Hotel Trebol. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. They helped store bags until my room was ready. The parking was free and although a couple blocks from the hotel, was completly secure. The internet was also very good. Aesthetically thus hotel is decorated very nicely, with a...

Booked this place in person a week in advance. When we arrived with our heavy backpacks they could not find the reservation and insinuated we couldn't have made a reservation! Offered no help and basically left us to find something else by walking the streets on a busy Friday night. Mochas Gracias!

Initially I had some trepidation about staying in such a busy part of the city - but Hotel Trebol is a great place if you want to be close to all the action, the markets, the evening Zocalo and many wonderful restaurants. I stayed 9 days and had a very quiet room. Breakfasts were good though they could have started...

Good location, one block from the zocalo. Very clean and well maintained space. The cleaning people were friendly and warm as was the travel agency, always ready with a "buenos Dias". Negatives: Disinterested reception desk staff. Unchanging, boringand breakfast; scrambled eggs, bimbo white bread, corn flakes, watermelon. Edible. Undrinkable granular Nescafé and, strangely an attached coffee shop, that walked through and...

As many have noted, this hotel is one block from the Zocalo and across the street two of the city's main markets. It is comfortable and provides an excellent buffet breakfast starting at 8:00 a.m. and coffee tea and fresh fruit during the day. The rooms are comfortable and are clean and for the price very good value. The coffee...

This hotel is close to the markets versus the Grand Cathedral plaza. We stayed here during Day of the Dead and it was close enough to get to the action without being in it when we inevitably didn't last as long as the younger or more enthusiastic revelers. The hotel was super clean, staff helped with anything we needed with...

Friendly staff and hotel is well located, but wifi was not working in our room. Plastic mattress protectors used on the beds, and an unpleasant and gloomy bathroom that hasn't been updated for some years.

Sweet little hotel, 40 rooms total. Great ambience, friendly staff. Best thing about hotel is location: one block from zocalo. Highly recommend d. But nights can be noisy if your room faces the street. Lots of traffic whistles late into the night. If you like to go to bed early, request a room that faces interior atrium. If you like...

Pros: Nice rooms, quiet, professional feel, excellent included breakfast, good room cleaning, 5-gallon tanks of drinking water (garafones) on each floor. Great location a block from the Zocalo and surrounded by very nice markets (food, local crafts, household needs). Cons: Not one person there ever showed the slightest bit of friendliness. Perhaps they're told to be stand-offish. When prompted, they...
