The 100% vegetarian restaurant at the Los Olivos Spa and Hotel is wonderful. We are vegetarians, and we had to really dig to find this spot. TripAdvisor needs to add this restaurant. Fortunately one of our guides knew about this place and recommended it to us. They serve all day and have special times when its like a buffet and...

Located at 5 minutes by car (30-40 min. by foot) from downtown- The hotel offers a place for relaxation and healthy choices with the spa, (beauty parlor, massages, jacuzzi & temazcal) I would like it to have a juice & smoothie bar too. The vegetarian restaurant offers breakfast buffet and Mexican dishes for lunch and dinner. The coffee is delicious...

I moved to this Hotel from "La Casona de dos Patios" in the downtown historic center. I regretted my move and I will tell you why. This location is not near anything of walking distance, other than a Supermarket. The restaurant was extremely slow, I waited nearly 25 minutes for a cappuccino two days in a row and when I...

Hotel was just a short walk from where our son was staying in Oaxaca, which was a great bonus for us. Rooms comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed for a week, then went on a road trip, then returned for just one night before our departure. First room we stayed in was very dark, and looked out onto...

This hotel is located just outside downtown Oaxaca, near to the road to Monte Alban. Nice garden and spa. Rooms are spacious, the furniture is basic. Beds are just fine. The restaurant is very good and opens till late. The staff was very friendly. Very good value for money.

This is a restaurant review. I couldn't figure out how to be the first one to write a restaurant review, so I'm leaving it under the hotel. I'd say this Sunday buffet is the best vegetarian meal in town. I'd prefer it to be vegan, but they seem to be catering to the Mexican preference for cheese. Also, I wish...

if there is anything good to say- the staff are nice and friendly, in addition to this, the quality of this hotel is horrible... we chose this hotel one week before the check in date because it was the cheapest hotel left, and the online photos looks very nice. when we arrived, we were very disappointed, nothing looks like the...

Fooled by the nice pictures on Hotel.com as well as the opportunity to enjoy relaxing spa-facilities we booked 4 days at Los Olivos. However, we soon came to regret this due to more reasons. 1) The hotel is extremely noisy. One thing is that the walls are paper-thin, another is that the hotel staff starts up with very noisy activities...

This hotel is often advertised as "5 mins" from the downtown -- perhaps by car. It's a 40 minute walk. The hotel is on a very busy thoroughfare and the rooms are constructed with slat windows, meaning noise (and everything else) leaks in. I found the staff and other guests quite noisy. The desk staff were not unfriendly, but not...

“My biggest complaint with this hotel was wifi signal, or the lack there of, it might be better in some places more than others, but if it is important to you, then ask how well it is, and then ask to visit the room first and check it. So many times in Mexico I have had to makes calls from standing on the toilet, slammed against the door, or as in the case of room #132 here, outside was better.”
